Because there's an inch of skull, you have redundant brain parts, and it's a movie.

Was it a dart to the actual brain? I'm sure the human skull in strong enough to endure a dart... well that's what I presumed anyway.

It may not have completely penetrated the skull, it may not have punctured a blood vessel and/or it may not have caused serious brain damage. I've never seen the movie but that is what I would assume.
there are a lot of blood vessels near the skin on the head

but for it to stick in and be hard to pull out, it would have to go in deep and the skin on the head is thin

His awesomeness created a force field around his head, which incinerated the dart. During that milisecond, the molecules of the dart and the force field had an epic duel, of which the shield won with a FALCON PAWNCH Blitzkreig.

Kind of like this:

Here you will see a lonely dart molecule (the baseball player) is being FALCON PAWNCH'd by a force field molecule, who is backed up by other molecules (represented by the crowd.)

Why would a dart to the head kill you?

This is like asking why the guy who tried to kill himself with a nail gun was still alive after driving 9 or so nails into his head. A dart would be far less likely to do any real damage even if it did manage to get through the skull. Your brain isn't an off switch, touching it doesn't kill you.

I meant a large one, like some of the arteries in the brain which could have leaked causing severe brain damage.
i know i was agreeing with you..... the strange thing is head wounds blood a lot, even little ones, but he didnt seem to bleed that much

Yes. As you can see, the blue wal represents the head. The lonely dart molecule (the dirty baseball player) is charging the head. But before making it, the force field FALCON PAWNCHes the dart molecule (represent by the crowd.)

However, the dart molecule does manage to get into his head (See: His left hand is touching the blue wall) but his advance is stopped by the force field molecules.

One: This is, what, your sixth thread today? I would suggest laying off for a bit.

Two: He's the main character, killing him would be stupid unless it's at the end.

I'm not talking about you getting to busy, I mean that the mods might take action as though you are a spammer. I found that a good way to judge is about one topic a day at most, and even that is pushing it.

I understand, and you had good intentions, we just have a big "THIS IS NOT 4CHAN!!!" thing here, and making a bunch of threads on your first day is rather 4chan like. But I guess you need a friend around here, so I'll send you a request.
