Is Battlefield 2:Bad Company worth buying for the PC? I played the xbox version and it was so laggy but had potential and I was wondering if it was much better on the pc? (as all shooters typically are)

Bro Company 2? Of course.

Everyone I've met seems to get a better sense of what they're doing, and they're far more skilled as a result. The controls are also superior in just about every way.

I suppose so. The dedicated servers give a better sense of community.

Provided you pick decent ones of course.

Never really liked the feel of it on PC, and as far as I've been told, there's a difference between the console and PC versions in that department.

It could easily just be that I'm turned off of it by it not feeling like Battlefield 2, 1942 etc.

It's probably the most advanced shooter out there today, gameplay-wise, and certainly has a far more tactical multiplayer gameplay than the CoD titles.
