I avoid doing stuff like that. I know some people who use internet-speak and sci-fi-swearing in real-life conversations and it never ceases to piss me right the fuck off.

I regularly pull a "Picard-manoeuvre", standing up out of a chair and pulling my sweater down/straight.

Me and my friends like to say "Oh Sheesh Ya'll, 'Twas a dream" from Jake and Amir.

My and one friend in particular just went on a film festival spree so we're still quoting films we saw.

Also say "goody gumdrops" because of Brick Top, from Snatch.
You could say anything from that film as a habit, most quotable movie ever.

'Alons-y, Alonso' and 'Geronimo' from the Doc
Good ol' doctor, he's got some great words. After rewatching the first series (of the reboot) I suddenly found myself describing everything as 'Fantastic!'.

I've been told that I start to sound and act a bit like Dr. Cox. Which is surprising as I hardly ever watch Scrubs.
Maybe he is starting to act and sound a lot like me.

And I do Earl's eye raise.

I can easily drop in references from all manner of movies, series and books in my speech. The best thing is to have someone else recognise it and play off it as far as you can go.

One of the most amusing ones to do is the following:

My friend: "Hey, I've been thinking--"
Me: "A dangerous past time."
My friend: "I know."

I have picked up a lot of phrases from random shows I found amusing. Randomly like to shout BROOKLYN RAGE occasionally. Also I took "go eat your orange dickhead" from a Steve Hughes comedy show as an insult to sports people who talk about how great they are at their sport. Many other things I have taken too.

Yeah I can't stand that either, like "frack" or whatever from battlestar galactica (I think...) also people who use lol or ily or any similar acronyms in real life. Especially lolcats language in real life.

I really picked up 'neh' from several war stories and Enders Game.

Also 'w00t'! From MegaTokyo, Hyperspace Mallets from... well, just about everywhere, Hyperspace Arsenal from same, and all sorts of little quirks.

Not at all. Any excuse to flambouyantly burst into song should be celebrated and immeditely taken advantage of. Or is it the other way around?

I am sure I must have gotten my excessive use of the word "indeed" from somewhere, but I cannot recall where from.
Indeed. I got mine from Fear and Loathing in Las Vagas. HST uses it a lot, usually as a one word sentence.

Since Deadwood I refer to a lot of people as cocksuckers.

One of the Jersey Shore guys says "Aw yeh!" Not sure which one it is; I've only seen the show for like 5 minutes and some dumb YouTube video on how to make your hair look douchy. I say that sometimes as a joke.

I've actually started picking up a lot of things from How I Met Your Mother. A lot of Barneyisms. I have to stop myself, because I get annoyed when people just quote things all the time instead of developing their own quirks. True story.
