Title basically explains it; is there a phrase or a quote (be it from a book, game, person, whatever) that fits your currrent situation or past experiences? It can be as general or as specific as you'd like.
For me, the quote is:
"Finding it, that isn't the hard part. It's letting go"
It sums up me as I am now, and as I have been for a while. Whenever something comes into my life, no matter how temporary, it sticks with me. I love history, so naturally the past plays a huge role in my life, whether it be a past lover, past deed, past friends...having just gone through another break-up I'm finding it extraordinarily hard to let go...last time I couldn't do it even after 4 months, so yeah. I cannot let go of my past, the things I have experienced, no matter how easy they are to find.

...Off topic, I love the new Vegas DLC's...

I'm afraid its not one quote but the whole of the poem "Desiderata" that sums up my mantra on life, although I sometimes struggle to abide by it. Here's the first two lines;

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.

"On the outside looking in." Sometimes I feel like an outsider living on some crazy planet.

This might come off more negative then I intend it, but I consider myself a pretty observant kind of guy and say this to myself all the time.

Latin 'Semper in Excretio Solum Profundum Variat' - We are always in the shit; it's only the depth that varies

Kinda loving that John Donne poem at the moment-

"No man is an island entire of itself; every man
is a piece of the continent, a part of the main;
if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe
is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as
well as a manor of thy friends or of thine
own were; any man's death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind.
And therefore never send to know for whom
the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

The lyrics to Death Cab For Cutie's I Will Possess Your Heart sums up how I feel about a girl.
