it's insensitive, regardless of intent. very few ww2 collectors display nazi regalia to the public.

however, if her name was white...

I am offended by this, as she is making "the white people" look bad. But if it's her own pool she can decide what to do with it. All the cool kids will hang out at the "no dorks" pool anyways.

Okay, at first I thought I understood. It's an antique sign she put up for shits and giggles. But then I read this: ?If I have to stick up for my white rights, I have to stick up for my white rights. It goes both ways.?

If you use the term "white rights," you are a racist. I would say the same for black people, if you use the term "black rights," you are a racist. There are only "human rights," though I would argue those rights apply to aliens as well! So basically there are only "rights!" End of discussion!

I am completely offended by this.

Not because of some over inflated racist undertones. I am an antiques collector and the notion that any antiques collector worth their salt would display their item exposed to the wind/rain/snow other elements is astoundingly offensive. If you would do that your not a collector of antiques, your just decorating your place with useless trash.
That's somewhat what I was thinking. I honestly believe she isn't racist. I just think she's an idiot for putting the sign up. That's just asking for trouble.

She shouldn't hang the sign outside as it does advertise public pool when its not and that can be confusing. Other then that, she's a racially oblivious person who needs to learn that she can offend others without knowing it.

I'm very confused about this story but the thing I caught was it's a private pool on private land so the owner is well within her rights to be a bigot. Not getting any sympathy from me over her sign being stolen though
But she wasn't being a bigot , it's an antique sign , like anything from nazi germany , people collect those too , doesn't make them racist , it makes them a collector.People collect those stuff . Now i would not have put it on a pool gate but no matter where she put it this would have came up.
People tend not to have their antique Nazi flags flying in the front garden, however.

Similar to this. Not that I give a shit about antiques, but if she does like she says, I find it hard to believe she'd stick it there. If it was unintentional then she is fucking dense beyond belief. Although it was quite weird when she used the term "white rights".

Could go either way to be honest, although either way shows her up as an idiot.

So, it's alright for there to be all black colleges, but white people can't have an all white swimming pool.
Yes, and the reason for that is to compensate for the social and cultural ramifications of a people being royally fucked for several hundred years.

Whether you agree with it or not (and I'm open to the "not" side of things), trying to compare the two is idiotic.

Here's the problem, giving people like her attention. Let her be in her little racist world where skin color makes you better, smarter, faster and higher.

I don't have the picture that I got this from, but it went something like this:

"You shouldn't feel proud about great things other white people have done. You should feel bad about bad things other white people have done."

But that's more double standards.

Another:

"I dislike white people because they are racist."
was that from a movie, book, song, tv show, meme, or a quote from someone?
Meme, a friend found that on 4chan.

Sorry for the slow response, the new layout caused me not to notice that I had messages.

I lol'd.

Alright, I admit I'm fond of fucking horrible jokes. And being offended means nothing, so, whatever you know.
I also laughed.

Who gets offended by these people any more?

A) How can you tell that one person is making the pool cloudy? And isn't that what all the chemical and filters are for.
b) Why would see put a sign that says "Public Pool" on the enterance to her private pool?
C) Putting something that could be considered racist on the enterance to anything is just inviting trouble (unless you live in Alabama, then it's considered putting up the state flag). Put the sign on display, don't hang it up where people think it's an active sign.

EDIT:
Just read the last line. Wtf. I can't wait 'til racial ignorance like this goes the way of the human tail--eventually fades from existance, only to sprout up every once and awhile in babies in third world countries.

Ah, Amurricans... Getting offended at EVERYTHING. If the girl knew the owner, she knew they aren't a racist, all is good. If not, what the fuck does she care? Unless she has a "go into strangers' swimming pools at random" obsession.
