I was in high school when 9/11 happened. Shortly after finding out about it a few people beat up the Chinese exchange student at our school because they thought China was behind the attack. I asked one of the kids why they thought China did it and they told me "China has 2 billion people if they start a war with us they can kick our ass". I had to walk away after that.
Wow:

Racism, complete ignorance of world affairs and violence.

That's three strikes. You know what that means...

that they fit in quite well with mainstream American society, unfortunately. Well, racism isn't mainstream anymore. Racism against arabs is actually, but most people would probably take offense to them beating up a Chinese exchange student.

Last year, my teacher was talking about bank accounts getting frozen.
One girl, "Frozen...you mean like ice?" I shit you not, she actually said that.

The entire class actually burst out laughing.

Well for racism it kind of is becoming a big deal in California again because of some students at UCSD.

I've had numerous family members come up to me while I'm watching anime and try to explain why "the women all have huge boobs and the men use huge swords."

Yeah, apparently the entire country of Japan is over-compensating. Through their animation.

This is why I avoid my family at Thanksgiving.

A girl in my math class couldn't identify the country's 1st president. Or the current one. She also thought WW2 happened in the 80's.

OnTopic:
Left 4 Dead 2
Me: What the hell are you doing kid?
Kid: I'm rushing!
Me: Come back you have to stick with the team or you're going to get screwed and we won't be able to help
Kid: NAH UH THIS IS HOW YOU PLAY VERS- OH MY GOD I GOT A HUNTER ON ME WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS DOING HURRY UP.

It was something along those lines, either way he ended up leaving because we were too slow.

The AmazingAtheist I suppose, I died inside a bit when I found his channel and realized he was the awesome, witty trailer failer (Yes I am a Christian).

Though apart from that I suppose the other day when I went up to my mates and they refused to try D&D on the grounds that it was too geeky.

I'd come up with something better but I can't really think of anything.

Pretty much anyone who uses the term Fascist as an insult for a far right conservative, the farthest right is anarchy, and on a political party's standpoint both major american parties draw on facist influence, the Democrats generally economically and Republican's generally socially, neither take it to the extremes of Fascism and it doesn't mean that Bush or Obama are Hitler. People these days seem to think of it as more of a league of super villains than a political system.

I'm better now

Actually, I had a similar thing happen in the first one. This kid told me and the other two players to hide in the closet while he took the Tank one-on-one.

Needless to say, he died screaming at us for not helping him and tried to kick all of us.

Also, I wouldn't recommend taking my spot. Sure the food's good, but the weather down here around Thanksgiving is Hell.

"Gays can't get married because it devolves the social structure that was set for this state"

"Gays shouldn't get married, it spits in the face of marriage"
"So Tod over there gets divorced 5 times and remarries each time"
"That's Ok, it's to women, the way God wanted"

o_O*twitch*

On a non religion inducing note:
"Macs are sooo much better then a PC, only experts can use them"
"You do know Macs were designed for simplicity so even a 5 year old could understand where everything is and how it works. Basically your flailing a rattle around screaming about how good you are at music. . ."
"Shut up idiot, you probably use Linux"

Or my favorite: At the mall yesterday:
Walking down hallway, pass so gangsta looking homie, he bumbs into me then laughs "******"
Me and my friend turn around and see him and his friend. . . Wearing pants down to their knees. Pink boxers. Wheeling around a scooter around the mall. . . with matching headbands. . . and the kicker: Che Guevara T-shirt.

Me and my friend just look at each other and laugh, which results in another "******" out of them. Not really ignorant, but it was pretty funny.

I can see 90% of these posts start off with 'In my x Class...' (replace x with class name)

I chose to wear my Hammer and Sickle T shirt the other day. Some curious kid came up to me and said:

Tosser: 'What's that on your shirt?'
Me: 'It's the symbol of the Soviet Union'
Tosser: 'Oh, Is that, like, White Power or something?'
Me: *Sighs and walks off*
I agree with your statement about the class ones.

But in your example with the shirt, what happened is better than the tosser beating you up for being communist or something.

Personally I find creationism magazines to be very annoying, and sometimes creationism in general really.

I apologise for going here, but I'm a WoW-nut so...

Went to a random heroic dungeon with 2 guildies, our tank was crap, great gear but couldn't survive and hold aggro, he leaves, the random mage in the group starts flaming our healer friend who hadn't done anything but spam-heal the tank, with no success. Another tank joins, worse gear than the first one, gets splattered all over the floor, at which point, the mage flames yet again, calling our healer friend a noob, and using the "my main is a [insert random class who the person he is trying to flame, is]. We all start flaming back, to which he responds "shut up, noobs" and leaves the group.

These kind of events make me lose faith in humanity. >_<

Racism in general. That right there is complete bullshit.

The report recently posted here, about the connection between gaming and violence being bigger than the connection between smoking and lung cancer.
That just made me rage. A lot.

No wait, I think my rage was because I played Alien vs. Predator yesterday. Yeah, that must be it.

I'm kinda ashamed to admit this but the majority of my friends are at least marginally rascist. Usually going "Fuck! I hate Asians!" And I'm like "Why?" and they're like "Because they're everywhere!"

I swear I facepalm everytime I hear that.

Let me say that anything I say can't possibly top the level of stupidity these people are saying. So thanks for teh lulz.

Oh I got one...

Who's Chuck Norris? A girl said that and it got the whole class laughing. Every one was saying their favourite facts. I face-palmed.
