RAGE QUIT!

Well, I just rage quit Demon's Souls for the first time. I died before I touched my previous blood stain and ended up losing 13,000 souls. I was kinda pissed about that.

It did give me the idea for this thread though.

How often do you rage quit from a game? And what's your worst rage quit story, or what game pissed you off the most? And how long do you wait after a rage quit before returning to the game?

Trying to beat the Dead Mines on Cataclysm Heroic, and our Healer - good at healing, don't get me wrong - repeatedly jumped off the boat during the fight with Van Cleef, instead of swinging on the rope that was right in front of her. The first time, yeah, it happens. The second and third times? FAIL. The fight to get to that boss was like pulling my own gorramn fingernails out and we were THIS CLOSE to beating the final boss and getting some fantastic loot. But nooo.

I was so pissed I told them I was done and dropped out. They probably found another Tank, so it's not like my act of spite did anything to slow them down, but I was sick of that bullshit.

Pretty much every time I play a Castlevania game, maybe with the exception of the latter titles... before Order of Ecclesia came out and made me ooze blood and puss from every orifice of my body.

Depends on the game and my desire to finish them regarding how soon I'll pick it back up. Currently, I've been spending approximately ten minutes once every month for Dracula X on the PSP, before putting it back down and start kicking my bathroom door. If the world doesn't end in 2012, I may even get to finish it eventually.

I don't so much rage-quit, as rage-break-things, though. My Mega Drive gave out after repeated punches in the face years ago and there has been a number of game disks I've smashed to bits over the years, then launched to different directions.

The game that has made me rage quit the most times must be Bad Company 1 multiplayer.. The insta-death upon respawn made me rage intesly many a times.. It is without a doubt the game i've broken the most controllers to too.. 5 ps3 controllers in all had to pay with their lives due to that game.. It was an intense love/hate relationship that game.. I was quite good at it.. Always ended in top 3, but the spawn killing just made me rage immensly..

After that game i have stopped playing that series at all, and now i pretty much only play TF2.. The amount of happy/rage time in that game is alot better for me than BC.
