Sounds silly, but Sims 3. I spent a lot of time with a Sim family in doing the Legacy Challenge (basically: create a sim, and have them get through ten generations with a ton of restrictions placed on you). I got to generation 7, and then the whole town got corrupted somehow. Couldn't load it no matter what I tried. That really pissed me off.

Oh, and
Matador
from Nocturne. Stupid jerk.

Saints Row fucking 2. That one Sons of Samedi mission where you have to go the police station and install some crap. I don't know, I was too busy flipping my shit to care. Anyway at the end of the mission you're supposed to get out of the police station using a helicopter. Note that at that point armed choppers spawn, infinitely, I think. Your chopper isn't armed so you're pretty much a sitting(or in this case, flying, har har) duck while police choppers lock-on and fucking murder you with homing missiles. It's purely up to luck whether you will make it back to the HQ or if you fall to the ground in a ball of fire. That game pissed me off like that so many times.

From my recent memory that'd most probably be Wet. I really wanted to like the game but damn did it make it hard for me - stupid QTEs forcing me to rewatch cutscenes over and over again (although I kinda got the hang of them by the end), unintuitive platforming sections where I didn't have a clue where to go and died instantly whenever I failed to jump from the exact designated point in the exact designated direction, sudden ending out of nowhere without any resolution... I don't think I was ever so frustrated with a game.

The flying school in San Andreas. Oh GODS, how I loate the flying school. Even with a joypad, the missions were endlessly frustrating!

What's worse, they're needed for progress.
Those missions were quite difficult indeed (but then so were many others as well. It's not GTA if you don't have some rage-inducingly hard sections if you ask me) but they still pale in comparison to that one mission with the toy airplane from Vice City.

Fell down some shaft in one of the Tomb Raider games(Anniversery, I think) and couldn't get up again. Kept messing up the jumps and had to start over. At the same time you didn't have any weapons and there was a rat at the bottom that kept pestering me.

Ended up screaming "You fucking whore!" at the TV. Usually I just squeeze the controller a bit when I get pissed off at a game.

Later on realised you could actually move the camera there, so it went from impossible to simple as fuck.

Uncharted 3 multiplayer makes me rage hard. Game rivals Metal Gear Online in how inaccessible it is to casual users.

The game operates on fighting game logic in that you can spend time learning the maps and tweaking your loudouts and finer points of the combat and what works and what doesn't...

OR, you can just mash buttons at random and still be one of the top players in every match.

Seriously, the best tactic that has an almost 100% success rate is to equip any automatic gun and run up to your enemy firing from the hip, hitting them when you get close enough. And if an enemy has you cornered? Just bash the jump and roll buttons and you're bulletproof.

Anyone who has played Persona 3 & 4 can sympathize with me here.

Mudo and Hama skills. Insta-kill spells that are deadly unless you have team members immune to them. Worst part is, if the main character dies, it's game over.

Maximum levels or rage ensue, even more so when grinding for hours and you just need to make one last stretch to the god-damn teleporter back to the god-damn entrance!!

In Modern Warfare 2, you have to run down a hill under mortar fire, and I'm not sure if it was a glitch or not, but the fucking mortars killed me a lot. I ran down that fucking hill about 70 times (not exaggeration). The patronising little quotes Call of Duty does when you die didn't exactly calm me down either. And then to cap it all off, I got through the mortars, and SPOILER WARNING (but seriously, if you haven't played it yet you're probably not bothered) I fucking DIED in the cutscene at the end. So if I die here, I lose, but if I die over here, I win. Fuck. That. I think by the end I was threatening to go to Infinity Ward and systematically slaughter the lot of them.

Halo 2's ending. The mother of all cliff hangers and dead stop endings. It was infuriating especially for a short game.

Pokemon Pinball. How the hell am I suppose to capture all of the Pokemons just by timing to flip the pinball with just two flippers??!!!

Any number of bad runs on Call of Duty, but that's obvious. On a more original note, it was when I finished "Quantum of Solace" and realised I'd wasted 35 quid on a hope that it would actually be good.

Zelda: Phantom hourglass. I outright quit after seeing that temple for the umpteenth time.

Okami on the wii. The second to last or last blockhead. Almost broke my controller in half trying to do those.

Jak II and it's absolutely horrible checkpoint system. The fact that almost everything can kill you in four hits despite the fact you have eight segments of health also kind of pissed me off as well.

The Souls games had their fair share of rage inducing moments as well, but at least it was satisfying to win.

Super Meat Boy's final level in the Dark World: I was almost to the end, and I accidentally mistimed my jump and hit the last saw.

The last time I was angry enough at a video game to yell at it was when I was doing those side missions in Saints Row 2 where you have to drive around with a prostitute in the backseat while she and a client have weird kinky sex. It sounds funny, but in reality these missions are positively infuriating. The worst part is that they don't even offer good rewards for completing them.

"Oooh, the ability to call a vehicle I own to me whenever and two cars that I'll never use. Yaaaay."

But Mudo/Hama never hits. At least in Persona 4 I find. Persona 3 must have had more probability of it actually hitting cuz I just blazed through any Hama/Mudo only enemies in 4.

"oh look he's casting Hama lol waste of a turn!"

Though if you've ever seen The Persona 4 Endurance Run there's a hilarious moment where they were grinding a dungeon really easily (as in hit the Rush button, wait for the win screen easy) out of nowhere main character gets hit by Hama and dies... Cue stunned silence followed by denialtastic lols.

OT: Well any fighting game can be absolutely ragetastic. But UMVC3 online is the only one I really rage at.

So you won with a Dark Wesker and dare to mash the taunt button on the win screen?! LOL NO WIN FOR YOU *rage quit*

Fuck the taunt button man. Except when you counter taunt after a epic comeback, then it's totally legit XD. Vergil, I love you buddy. Guy taunts after destroying my first two characters Vergil comes in and owns the shit out him. I had the perfect type of rage where it doesn't make you do stupid shit but instead makes you deadly focused in the "this dick will not beat me" kinda way. Taunt after the win ("is that your best?") then leave without offering a rematch.

Dat salt be risin'

I don't really have a "most angered" yet..so I'll just list some especially memorable ones.

1. In City of Heroes Underground Incarnate Trial where Vanessa DeVore dies and that stupid hussy Desdemona takes up the mantle as Carnival Queen.

2. The endings to KOTOR 2, C&C 4, and, yes, ME 3

3. Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, the fight in the Edoras throne room. I was younger, and the enemies kept spamming the same poison-critical hit attack every time. It got very annoying very fast.

4.Civilization III- Everyone was making war with me and although I was the most technologically advanced Civilization, their endless waves of horsemen were tearing my gunners apart.

Haha, I love that logic.
Even funnier in Skyrim.
Walk into village.
Punch a chicken
Have a bloodthirsty mob bludgeon you for punching their Poultry.

OT: Stuntman. By the fucking gods, STUNTMAN
If i can't approve of this post more

1 I got murdered at the start of skyrim for zapping a chicken
2 you used the words punching and poultry in a sentence

well done good sir, well done indeed

OT: I can't remember actually getting into a rage with a game for a while. Ninja Gaiden 2 get's me closest to it I think. I still can't get past the level 2 boss on master difficulty. No matter what I throw at him.

EDIT: I remember persona 3 now thanks to a previous poster, nevermind. FUCK I HATE THAT GAME BECAUSE I LOVE IT BUT CAN'T FINISH IT CAUSE EVERYONE GET'S HAMA'D/MUDO'D AND WHAT'S LEFT GET'S THAT A-BOMB ATTACK DONE TO THEM

and sorry about that...

Battlefield 3, especially when I'm playing "camp" games.

Always campers around the m-coms, campers in corners, the team thats supposed to be attacking are all camping in their own base with snipers, camping with mortars. Cant get the games won effectively.
I was going to say something else but I have to agree with this. Especially when you're on the attacking team and maybe a quarter of your team is doing what they are supposed to be doing and the rest of them are sitting up the back with snipers and mortars.

Not to mention base rape. It's shit when it's getting done to your team and it's boring as hell when your team is doing it.
