Inspired by the Random Superpower thread: Electric Boogaloo! [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.935774-Random-Superpower-thread-Electric-Boogaloo] this thread is to identify what alien species represents you!

Update: Instead of going to the Alien Species wiki and clicking the "Random page" button, you can simply click this link to get a random page. [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Random] (Thanks and credit goes to @LegendaryGamer0 )

The rules are simple first you go to The Alien Species Wiki [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Alien_Species_Wiki] and then click "Random page". What ever alien species comes up is the alien species that you're meant to be! You may re-roll only if you come upon a page that isn't an alien species, like a directory for a letter, or a category of alien races. The first alien species you land on is the alien you are meant to be, once that happens, no re-rolls. Period. Aside from that please include some relevant information about the species, a link to the species page, an image(if you can), and how you feel you'd be as a member of said alien species.

I'll start us off with my result which is: Sphinxian Treecat(The People). [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Treecat]

Physiology:
Treecats obtain their name from the felinoid appearance of the head, but the body, in both movement and shape, more closely resembles a Terran ferret or other mustelid. Treecats possess six limbs: the true-hands in front, possessing 3 fingers and an opposable thumb, the hand-paws midway down the body, which can be used either as extra hands or stabilizing extra feet, and the rearmost true-feet. All six limbs possess curved retractile claws approximately 1cm in length, composed of a tooth-like mineral construction with an extremely sharp inner edge. Treecat tails are prehensile, with the ability to be carried either rolled into a tube for warmth, or flattened to exposed the gripping underside surface. 'Cats also possess secondary nerve centers near the midlimbs, thought to be related to psychic ability.

Treecats lack the vocal apparatus to speak other languages, but a modified version of sign language was eventually developed to allow them to speak to humans.
Physical Abilities:
Treecats possess telepathic abilities with each other, and empathic ability among themselves and other sapients (such as humans). Mated pairs form a lifelong bond with their partner. Treecat ethics include a strong proscription against interfering in the mental processes of others, but the can serve as a supportive and stabilizing influence.

Treecats are also able to bond in a somewhat different fashion to humans. They are able to sense the "mind-glow" of humans, despite our being "mind-blind" (non-telepaths). This bond could be quite intense. The difference in treecat and human lifespans before the advent of life-extending prolong treatments led to tragic separation with the death of the human partner, as the 'cat might decide to suicide rather than live with the bond severed. The extension of human span to more closely match that of the 'cats remedied this, however. In a few cases, humans gained the ability to sense the emotions of other humans through their 'cat partner.

Due to their empathy, it is difficult to impossible to hide hostile intent from a treecat. Presenting a danger to a treecat's friends or adopted human will result in an immediate and likely lethal attack response. They can also detect those who have been psychologically modified, registering as a "wrongness" in the afflicted's mind-glow.

While treecats are generally carnivores and lack the ability to digest cellulose, they use the plant "purple thorn" to maintain their psychic ability. However, they discovered that Terran celery ("cluster stalk") is an even better "telepathy vitamin" and enjoy it immensely.

Society:
Treecats are organized into 12 known (formerly 13) clans, each clan governed by a group of Elders. Clans also possessed one or more "memory singers" (automatically Elders in their own right) who serve as "oral" historians of the clan. Memory singers possess exceptionally strong memory and telepathic powers, able to "replay" events from clan history with great detail.

Treecats are hunter-gatherers, possessing a roughly Stone Age level of tool use. They can create stone blades and tools, as well as cordage-based tools like nets. Their tech level is more based on lack of need than inability, as they are fully capable of learning the use of the advanced technology of humans.

Treecats are culturally cautious, tending to advance more slowly then the more reckless and headstrong humans. With the destruction of the Black Rock Clan, the 'cats were convinced of the need to expand offworld, lest they become collateral damage from human warfare. The first group of treecats to move offworld were the family of bonded 'cat Nimitz, who moved his family and certain others to planet Grayson. Whether this "Grayson Clan" will expand to a full new thirteenth clan remains to be seen.
Hah! Score! I'm not sure I'd chose to be a Treecat if I were given the choice in actuality. Still I'm sure as a Treecat I'd be one of the ones that went out to adopt and bond with a human. Amongst others of my kind I'd probably be known as a comedian and a trickster, the same would probably hold true amongst humans, as I have a wicked sense of humor. Being trans as a treecat would be hell as females are dappled brown in fur, but males are cream and gray in color. Still I'd make sure everyone used the proper pronouns around me. I'd also be a faithful defender of my two-legs(Treecat for human) and all of my loved ones, being the proverbial definition of an attacking Treecat when there's a threat: "A furry six-limbed buzz-saw." Though small I respect Treecat's they can take down adult humans with lethally competent ability. I also do hold to the Treecat idea of enemies, I only have two kinds of enemy: "Those who have been properly dealt with and those who are still alive."

So share your results and have fun!

On my first roll, I was a spaceship [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/BTL-B_Y-wing_Starfighter].
So, I rerolled, and I was a planet [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/AG1-43].
I rerolled again, and now I'm Donald Trump [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Quantum_Lichen_People].
Quantum Lichen People are similar to Humans in terms of their physical form, apart from their faces which they hide.

So far, Langdon Cobb is the most well-known of his species. He resides on Earth as the greatest actor in the universe.

History

Quantum Lichen People are parasites that feed on the life-force of all living beings, except themselves. They are well known across the galaxy and they feed off the attention of others therefore feeding their egos, which in-turn they use as an energy force.

Now, only a few exist in the galaxy and the famous actor "Langdon Cobb" is one of the few left of his species.
Symbiotic BondEdit

All of them have a fungus counterpart that stores the life-forces of those they drain, while also serving as pets. Quantum Lichens are composed of an Earth's algae component, they serve as IDs drawing attention from its prey. The fungus component represents their ego, absorbing and growing from the attention they receive and life-forces they drain.

Diet

They feed on attention, admiration and life-force, thus some will participate in things that their prey will pay attention to, (like acting, in Cobb's case).

A photo of them will also have the same effect: their life-force will be sucked out and stored in the fungus-ego component, empowering the both Quantum Lichen and the fungus ego.
Fungus ComponentEdit

Langdon Cobb's fungus component is similar to a large dog with green covered mushrooms all over its body and jowl tendrils. Unlike their Lichen half, they are aggressive to people; they are sworn to serve their Quantum Lichen half.
Mushroom Dog

Weakness

They seem to be weakened when someone else steals the attention of their prey, shrinking and ultimately destroying their fungus-ego.

The Lichen are so self-centered they can be distracted by the vision of their own face (like on a photo), causing their fungus ego component to overload and explode.

They can't feed on machines and robots because they don't have any soul or life-force to drain; this means that assuming a robot can get close enough to the lichen's "Id" form (humanoid half) without being torn apart by the fungal ego, that robot will be in a position to harm it.

I'm not sure if this counts but mine is a little creepy. You see a few weeks ago I was thinking about Mass Effect and then suddenly amazon recommended the trilogy edition to me for ?10 (just came up on recommendations coincidentally.... and now this...

Nazara (more commonly known as Sovereign) was the first Reaper encountered by the modern Citadel races. Military leaders initially assumed that Sovereign was a geth or Prothean flagship commanded by Saren Arterius, a rogue Spectre. The truth was far more alarming. The massive ship was itself intelligent, and Saren proved to be under its control.

The attack by Sovereign against Eden Prime and the Citadel removed any uncertainty about the Reapers' technological superiority. Sovereign's formidable shielding and firepower allowed it to hold off the combined fleets of the Citadel, and its mass effect fields proved powerful enough to let the enormous vessel land on a planet's surface.

Sovereign's mission?to open a mass relay that would transport the other Reapers from dark space?proved its undoing. During the Battle of the Citadel, Sovereign linked its consciousness to Saren's. When Saren's death corrupted the signal and shut down Sovereign's shields, Sovereign's destruction soon followed.

Guys. I'm scared the internet is reading my mind.

PS. How do I make it look professional and have the image to the side of the text?

Great, I turned out to be a Jedi-killjoy lizard. Ysalamir [http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Ysalamir]

I get to hang around on someone's jump harness, leeching food from their gear while they annoy force users. Ain't life grand?

Plus the wording in the article makes it sound like they're extinct. It seems someone doesn't want me around. D:

I got saddled with some http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Anguilla [weird giant eel people thing from the ass end of the Starwars universe]. 3 to 4 meters tall, Nomadic migratory hunters with powerful claws and infrared vision who are primitive but sapient, their leaders are chosen through feats of strengths rather than our method of choosing through feats of unkept promises. The only noteworthy history seems to be getting massacred on sight by the empire, calling on the rebellion for help to destroy an imperial mining corp only for the rebellion to install a mining corp of their own afterwards.

Honestly, I don't think I mind too much. It is a kinda cool race. I like water, I like going with the flow, I like being big and having claws that can glide through water and humans with equal resistance.

Well as a human, I feel like I could easily relate to being one. I'd say I feel alright being one as well, again considering the fact I AM ONE!!!!

I got Commander Shepard. I guess I'm some sort of changeling. Neat. If I have to reroll, then I'm...uh...a threat to all life in the universe...also neat.

http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/The_Beast_(Shadow_Raiders)

Dunno what Shadow Raiders is though. "The Beast's" description is basically Galactus though, since it sends forces ahead of itself before coming to devour a planet in person, or whatever it is.

Seedrian

Seedrians is a fan term for a species of plant-like aliens who have evolved to assume sapience and a humanoid form. They appear in the Sonic X series.

Male Seedrians, referred to by the fans as Thorndrigans, are slightly larger than most of the inhabitants of Sonic's world, and are usually rather round, with short tails, small antler-like growths on their heads, and a colored ridge on the top of their heads; they are largely similar to trees in their make-up. Female Seedrians, or Petali, more closely resemble their plant ancestors, being mostly slender and having an arrangement of petals sprouting from their waists and buds ? or bloomed flowers ? atop their heads.
Wait...what?

"Seedrians is a fan term for a species of plant-like aliens who have evolved to assume sapience and a humanoid form. They appear in the Sonic X series."

"They appear in the Sonic X series"

I'm a dang Sonic OC!
