In Capitalism II, it's possible to play a multiplayer game designed to increase the profits of all the players, and in fact the game's economy works better when players co-operate, with manufacturing, retailing, and raw material activities divided between strong firms that do in the game what works in real-life business.

Nobuo Uematsu composed the Prelude as a last minute addition to the original Final Fantasy, and took all of 10 minutes doing so?

The Final Fantasy Legend, and its two sequels, are not actually Final Fantasy games but are instead part of the SaGa series?

each final fantasy up to 6 had the same number of battle themes as its game number (ff1 had one battle theme ff2 had two battle themes ff3 had three battle themes and so on)

if you havent guessed I like final fantasy trivia >.>

dissidia final fantasy was originaly going to be a PS2 game and was originaly going to be named shade theory: final fantasy

Why do people always assume I' in a fit of rage when I use caps >.<.
Because that's what most people use caps for on the internet.

Half life bullsquids were origionally white, then yellow, then the color they are today

Also Half life 2beta was hacked out to the public by a german hacker.

Mario 2 is actually not Mario 2.

Oh yeah, I'm so fucking old school, you don't even know.

(And this was sarcastic, by the way.)

Ape, Inc., which developed Mother and worked with HAL Laboratory on its two sequels, changed its named to Creatures Inc., and proceeded to create Pokémon Ranger and its sequel, among other games like Mario Picross and Project Hacker.

Creatures produces the Pokémon cards and toys, and also holds one third of the franchise's copyright.

The person who voiced Alex Vance in HL2 is also Guinevere in Spamalot.
Merle Dandrige was in Spamalot? That's hilarious!
Did you know that the man the modeled for the face of Eli Vance was hired because he was standing at intersection with a "Need a job" sign? (If the Half-Life wiki is to be trusted)

In Super Mario Sunshine, in the level where you first learn how to swim (in that bottle), there is a book. To find it, you must go into one of the cracks in the building and move the camera behind you. You will be able to see behind the wall and view the book, which is a reddish brown journal. In the Japanese version of the game, you had to get it to beat the level, but the mission is different for the U.S. version. Don't know why they changed it.

Halo was originally being developed as an RTS by Bungie.
No...it was originally a TPS for the Ps2.
It was originally in development as an RTS for Mac and PC. It was unveiled at Macworld 1999.
I thought it was just Mac until Microsoft was all like, this is marketable MUEHAHAHA.
But it was RTS not TPS.
It was unveiled in 1999 as a TPS for MAC and PC and Microsoft saw what they liked so they purchased Bungie.
This is all available in the trivia section in the halopedia. I also read/saw/listened (can't remember witch) to an interview with one of the Bungie employees that said the exact same thing...but for the life of me I can't remember his name :/

Mustve been after that they went to Ps2, then finally Xbox.
No offense delta, but you don't like to be wrong, I assume, considering how the facts are easy to find...
OT: Did you know the Valve man logo...
Was to be used to help showcase the capability of the GoldSrc Engine, with a bald man with a goatee, no shirt, and trousers walking over to a machine, and getting the red valve put into his head by said machine. All was to be animated, by the way.
You may know him as the Gman. Did you know he was going to be the base for Dr. Wallace Breen?
Aaaaand...
The man who is the base for Dr. Kleiner is an accountant, and Valve members ran into him at Starbucks occasionally, wondering why he looked so familiar.
Alyx referred to Kleiner, at one point, as Uncle Kleiner. Also, did you know that Gman saved Alyx, when she was an infant, at Black Mesa?
This is an unemployed man, Valve used as the base for Eli Vance.
And Finally... did you know that Gordon Freeman's original model looked like a space biker, with a really wild beard, no glasses, a gray-green HEV suit, and a pony tail?

Looks like someone read Half Life 2: Raising the Bar.

And about the Captain Price stuff, if anyone has seen Lost, they know the mysterious, miraculous powers of CPR. Me, I don't think he made it because the Russian wasn't repeating "Come on. Come on. Breath, dammit!" as per CPR protocol.
