Random scenario Tuesday: Monsters and magic come to life

The world finds out that monsters are actually real and have been living with humans this whole time. From werewolves to vampires and every other monster as well. Not only that, but magic is actually a real thing, from light magic to dark magic and every other magic in between. So the question is, if monsters and magic co-existed with humans, what would you do?

I would probably learn some type of teleportation magic or learn how to cast fire spells to defend myself and probably make friends with a werewolf!

I'd probably try and become a vampire as soon as possible, and definitely try and become a powerful magician. I'd also try and learn as much as possible about their biology as I would definitely like to know how something like magic/lycanthropy would work.

OT: I don't think I'd dabble in that stuff, you never know how it could corrupt you or society as a whole. If it's been hidden, there may be a good reason for that.

Provided if I had the talent for it, I'd be hitting up all of the magics! Though knowing how I play games in these kinds of scenarios, healing magic would probably be the one kind I'd specialize in. Either that or Earth/Nature magic.

As long as I could have control become a werewolf or werebeast of some form and take up alchemy and try to end illness and problems through the new forms of biology and chemistry.

Magic flames and energy could produce massive amount of power get us off all this gasoline and coal, Alchemical medication would likely become my new line of work the instant curing of illness or purification of substances would be just a spectacular way to make a living as would something like the shop the older Weasley brothers ran in Harry potter had.

I would asked the monster what they think of the media portaryal of them mainly what do the Vampire think of Twilight? That is assuming they are the type that don't attack or harm people in any way.

As for magic, I would start asking people or creature around at what sort of magic is real or not. Either way I may want to learn a perticular magic or type depending how hard or dangerous it is to master it.

Do my part to try and assure good relations between humanity and the newly revealed other species. If it went pear shaped, if racist groups seized the moment to try and mount a campaign of hate against them, the consequences could be disasterous. A war between radical elements of humanity and the "monsters", with all who fall into neither category, human or otherwise, caught in the middle. When you think of the possible destructive power of just one wizard, then think of the proven destructive power of humans in a large mob, you realise that the death toll of such a war would climb incredibly fast, to the degree that if it ever got truly started, it'd never stop.

I'm the weird type of person who already thinks there are people that can do magic or are monsters in hiding. So.. maybe see if I could use magic myself if it came out into the open? Find someone to teach me? I dunno.

Hell, if aliens exist, there are people who can throw fireballs and there are lizards wearing people-skin to fit in, too. It's all good with me. One is no less feasable than the other. (That is to say, I believe in it all.)

Simple. Become a monster hunter. Because fuck vampires. They creep me out. Werewolves too. And start building a bunker for when the magic users start a civil war amongst themselves.

I'd definitely would like to start learning some magic in that case! And then, I will go and look for a dragon to tame and succubuss to seduce. And I will live a calm, happy life with my beautiful wife, little horny (as in they have horns) children, and mighty dragon as a pet.

Well they haven't attacked us yet so thats good. I'd learn awesome magic to defend myself and because it's cool. I'd make friends with a few monsters too cos I'm naive like that.

I've never wanted to be a vampire or a werewolf, but I've always wanted to be a mage. Not just a mage, but an arch-mage. I would learn every single kind of magic that I could, at least the ones that wouldn't cause me to become invariably evil or prevent me from learning other kinds of magic. I'd use the magic to enhance myself as much as I could without corruption or becoming a monster. Depending on how they worked, I would seek out other exotic disciplines (intensive martial arts instruction, practice at honing psychic talents, etc) to master as well.

After I was satisfied with my progress on those fronts...well, I have a laundry list of problems to tackle (world hunger, the environment, etc.). No point in accumulating that much power if you don't have a use for it. And I'm sure that there would be plenty of opposition ready to stop me.

I would want to learn how to use magic and become a wizard. also I would try to be peaceful and befriend some monsters. If that does not work I can alway use magic on them.

If a single human has the power to change the world, imagine the possibilities of a human augmented with magical powers. As such my first goal is some form of basic spells to manipulate the world around me, such as throwing rocks around and pushing air to form force fields/barriers. This I would follow with basic blasts of Light and Dark, maybe experiment with combining the two. Bring together others like roushutsu and krazykidd above me. Obviously get the powerful magician look, dark trench coat or suit, probably a top hat or bowler hat, fingerless gloves. With such a group of powerful users we could act as a group of vigilantes/bodyguards/freelancers working to better our new world.

I can finally achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a Wizard.
First plan of action would be to master the arcane arts. Second, to forge a magic blade.
And third would be...eh, there isn't really anything concrete for that.

A change of name might also be in order.

Oh, and monsters?
Not inherently bad.
Might even make for some good company.
