Random scenario Tuesday: Monsters and magic come to life

Try to master that one niche type of magic that no-one bothers with, like Crystal or whatever, then become the world's most powerful weremage, and walk around in only my shorts. Also, using magic to fly, to become invisible, and to summon demons and weapons would be prime uses, whichever apply.

Really I think you'd have to get into it if magic was real. You're not gonig to sit back and go "Eh, I'm happy obeying the laws of physics like everyone else".

The situation around the magic world would effect my decision a lot so I don't really know.
I guess assuming there's no immanent danger I'd learn a bit of healing and telepathy then major biological augmentation magic.
Now the big question, is an evil force emerging? If so I go of to fight that.
If that's not the case then there would still be a whole new world of information that needs to be documented and that's where I'll be.

I'd probably learn some decent healing and defensive spells as well as some electricity spells for a multitude of reasons. After that I'd just try not to get my ass killed by someone/something else.

I'd start to practice dark magic, and summon demons to kill off some humans.

Well I'm making one of two scenarios happen, and mark my words in an event like this... ONE OF THEM WOULD HAPPEN!

1. I flirt with a necromancer, get murdered by serial killer, get revived as zombie by mentioned necromancer, and funny crap happens (refer to "is this a zombie?" for more details)

2. I somehow turn my joking self into a werewolf and become roommates with a serious vampire. During the day we get into all kinds of shenanigans, but come night we become a crime fighting duo. I may have just thought up a bestselling sitcom.

The world finds out that monsters are actually real and have been living with humans this whole time. From werewolves to vampires and every other monster as well. Not only that, but magic is actually a real thing, from light magic to dark magic and every other magic in between. So the question is, if monsters and magic co-existed with humans, what would you do?

I would probably learn some type of teleportation magic or learn how to cast fire spells to defend myself and probably make friends with a werewolf!

You silly, the way you've phrased this makes it sound as though you think these things aren't real.

"Every other monster that exists" would suddenly exist? That's a weird sentence. But yeah... better cancel your travel to Japan everyone (especially women).

You've got bigger problems than tentacles my friend. You ever heard of this thing there called Thursday? Yeah that's generally the time some form of giant monster tears a major city there. Then there's Fight Night Sunday, when two or more giant monsters have a throw-down... in a major city. Yeah I'll take my chances with the vampires and werwolves.

If magic exists, I will basically copy what Toaru Majutsu no Index has done: create a 2 meter long sword, embue it with symbolism from all cultures, absorb a few grimores of all mighty and heavenly magic and just go nuts on everyone that pisses me off or tries to commit crimes. I will be a majin with powers from all regions and time and will DESTROY ALL EVIL (or try to become a wandering loner, whatever comes first)

Well I'd probably try to find out which version is the REAL version. Does magic require wands, or just a few of the right words and chants? Are demons pure evil, or just Lawful Evil (Or were the Devils lawful? I always confuse them.). Do vampires sparkle or burn in sunlight?

Figuring out the truth is the most important part of all this.

Provided if I had the talent for it, I'd be hitting up all of the magics! Though knowing how I play games in these kinds of scenarios, healing magic would probably be the one kind I'd specialize in. Either that or Earth/Nature magic.

Under the circumstances, Electric magic would be the best as it can produce many physical effects and even replicate other abilities such as pyro magic through the control of atomic behavior. My favorite use would have to be a railgun


{yes, i know this was an esper ability but the basic principle of a rail gun can be made using high level control of electric current and the subsequent magnetic field)

Do you want a electromaster with a lot of control and ability to do things normal electromasters can't or a majin specializing in symbolistic magic from all cultures and able to summon the powers of gods, demons, and other powerful magics though Idol theory? Idol Theory

vampires and werewolves are easy to deal with, it's human eating, shape-shifting homoncului that is the real issue. Indistinguishable from normal people, potentially enhanced magic capabilities and even traits and properties from other animals. It would not end well

I'd rush out of the house looking for the closest magic university or master available. Hopefully I could use teleportation, necromancy, or illusion based magic. Regardless of my magical aptitude, I'd learn what I can about the new creatures added to our bestiary, as well as the new laws of physics caused by the introduction of magic, and apply it to science and engineering. Magic/science tech is always the best in any story I've seen thus far.

I imagine that the only way everything was suddenly revealed would be some mass global attack or uprising our something violent and sudden. What would happen next would be a near absolute breakdown of society. What would happen next would be humanity coming back from such a thing and groups would probably sprout up across the world to fight the monsters, and if you can still kill monsters with prayer and holy water, their would be a rise in fanaticism and zealotry. Eventually humanity will try to pursue a purge of all the monsters and their human cohorts or at least the bad ones, and probably leave the succubi around too for science reasons, or at least banish them into the most remote locations on the planet. Then the world governments would have to deal with the ramifications of a world where people can raise undead armies the size of small nations, open portals to hellish dimensions and release long dead gods, and the eventual change in the world wide balance of power as the nations with more spiritual and "strange" religions, like Voodoo, African tribes, and Native Americans, will have become world wide players due to their new arcane arsenal.

And I'll probably end up dead, or looking at the all the new demon magic porn that will grace the internet.

I'd want to become a werewolf. Assuming it's the kind of lycanthropy that allows me to transform at will and maintain some degree of control.

From there, I'm thinking Gravity Falls-style wacky adventures in the realm of the paranormal. See the sights. Meet the folks. Make friends with a treant, an elf, godzilla, the loch ness monster, santa clause, a giant spider, and a dragon.

You know, that sort of thing.

I'd learn to transform myself into the beast from the Disney movie but make myself more boisterous and much cuddlier. I'd also see if I could learn to manipulate toon physics. I'll be available for anyone who wants to go on wacky adventures/ superhero shenanigans.
