While rolling around as a Goron in Majora's Mask, the sudden realization struck me: I love the fire levels in Zelda games. It makes it feel more like a fantasy to me when your killing fire-breathing lizard-things and in MM they had to merge it with the snow dungeon which kinda depressed me. Also, I enjoyed the Water Temple... even though it is pure evil.

A tie between Ocarina of Time's Water Temple and Hyrule Castle in Twilight Princess.

Does that tower of trials in TP count? I rather enjoyed that, going all out for something besides the final boss in a Zelda game was good fun. If not, Ganon's castle in the same game was pretty good. Breaching the doors, scouting the courtyard, storming the castle, dueling the Fat Orc one last time, and the final showdown felt like I was actually leading a one-man assault (the two guys who show up for about 30 seconds don't count, I think) on a castle rather than another preposterously designed "temple."

Well, since you're on a website dedicated to videogaming, I don't think that it's entirely "random" to create a topic about a very popular game.
OT: I think that the Palace of Twilight, from Twilight Princess, has got to be my favorite. The art style was so ethereal, and you got a sense that even thought the world was "dark" it wasn't necessarily "bad". That it had a kind of purity, but was being corrupted by the same thing that the light world was being taken by. As Midna puts it: "Some call our realm a world of shadows, but that makes it sound unpleasant... The twilight there holds a serene beauty... You have seen it yourself as the sun sets on this world. Bathed in that light, all people were pure and gentle... But things changed once that foul power pervaded the world..."
Getting the light-infused Master Sword was so empowering, letting the player clear out the dark fog and pierce through the evil veil that had taken over the world. It felt like I was having a tangible effect on the world. Also, the end fight with Zant was amazing, even if he would shut up.

I really like almost all of the dungeons in Wind Waker, especially Ganon's Tower because I liked fighting some of the bosses over again.

As a major Ocarina of Time fan, definitely gonna have to go with the desert dungeon in that game. I enjoy fighting those huge armored guys, and the witch sisters Koume and Kotake amuse me.

Well, for nostalgia reasons and for having the best theme ever I really like Hyrule Castle from a Link to the Past. My favorite though, is probably the second half of the Arbiter's Grounds. Why? Because I'm Tony Hawk with a sword, that's why. There were not nearly enough spinner puzzles in the game.

Desert Temple in Ocarina of time, the neccesity to go to the dungeon when your a kid to move a block so you can access it when your old is like the essence of the "hero of time". Furthermore it had the most enjoyable boss fight IMO, and was the first time you get to fight the heavy armored enemies which was much a le fun. It also was the best use of the mirror shield in a zelda game that i have played. (NOTE I HAVE NOT PLAYED MANY, Like only 4)

The Water Temple was my favorite just because of how good I felt completing it without a strategy guide :)

How dare you make me choose.

If I have to pick one...The Temple of Time from Twilight Princess.
No! Wait! No!
It's Jabu Jabu's Belly!
Or is it...
The Spirit Temple from Ocarina of Time
or the Water Temple...

or...

Damn this is hard. Definitely not the Water Temple from OoT though. God I hated that one! :p

I'd have to go with... Spirit Temple - OoT
or... Ocean Temple - Majora's Mask

Turtle Rock in A Link to the Past. It's easily the most magic intensive dungeon in the game. Finding that bat that reduces your magic meter consumption by half is an absolute necessity, and even so, you'll need at least two jars of Green Potion to make it through, and that's if you're smart with your meter usage.

It is, without a doubt, the most challenging dungeon in Zelda history, and that's why I love it. Yeah, it's nightmarishly punishing, but once you make it through, once you get that last crystal... Well, to put it bluntly, victory never tasted so sweet.
