I used to be an MC, rapper, etc. whatever. Currently, I'm a death metal/deathcore/metalcore vocalist.

I'm pretty good I think.

Inspirations include Animosity, Bring Me The Horizon, Decapitated, Thy Art Is Murder, Parkway Drive, The Black Dahlia Murder, A Day To Remember, etc.

...How did you go from being an MC rapper to a Deathcore vocalist... Do...do those demographics mix?

I don't really sing myself... for two reasons, one, I'm just not very good, and two, if I were to sing practically, I'd have to drum at the same time, and having tried that before, I don't plan on doing it again... Namely because it's hard...

Hotel California, the singer for that song plays drums at the same time. It isn't impossible to do both very well.

Oh, I can do rock drums fine, but I play fairly quick metal most of the time. I can do it then, but I can only keep up a consistent double bass beat and a very simple snare and cymbal pattern. And that's no fun. I like my fills.

My feet tend to tighten up whenever I tap them too fast, I could never do the drum lines they do in some metal songs...This makes me sad.

Oh man, double bass is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to learn drum wise. It took me over 4 months to be comfortable enough doing it to even attempt playing a complete song. Also, your feet shouldn't be hurting... How are you hitting the pedal?

Oh they aren't hurting and I haven't even tried on the drums. I was just saying that when I tap my feet fast they tend to tighten up and feel as though they are slowing down against my will. It was a joke that I failed horridly at.

Kind of, but extremely badly. I just got into a different crowd after my junior year and they introduced me to the heavy scene, and I made a big transition overtime. My music taste expanded in a huge way, but now I mostly focus on heavy/fast/extreme metal/hardcore punk and subgenres branching from them.

Musical tastes via peer osmosis?

Well, I moved from a small town to a city five minutes away from the state capitol, so I was exposed to a bigger, more diverse demographic of music and musical tastes. So more like, broadening horizons.

Big cities, hrm, nice to visit. I've sort of lived in a suburb my entire life though so I don't really know what it'd be like to live there. I'm basically a train ride away from both L.A. and San Diego though so I've seen some of the sights.

I sung baritone in Chorus, mostly because I had no other place to sing as an outlet and not feel weird for doing it alone. I would often get compliments to my singing and sometimes people would be staring at me and when the song is over I'm like "what?" and they just say "Wow" and I say "I'm that bad huh?". My ex girlfriend joined chorus cause she loved to sing too, but she had... no idea how and threw everyone around her off key. Now I just stick to playing guitar, on which I usualy just make my own material up. People ask "What tune is that?" and I say "I haven't named it yet."

I can sing, when I do it's usually just singing along with songs, but I've played guitar for about 5 years and consider myself a guitarist over vocalist. I can't play and sing at the same time very well either, unless it's just simple chord progressions. Most male singer's i know are either gay (I'm not being discriminatory, I'm serious) and sing pop, or sing pop and songs that people will like and are douchebags. Eventually I'll probably just sing for my band I'd say... I'd prefer to keep it a trio anyway

Well I'm not gay and if you still consider Beatles Pop then I guess I sing Pop. My favorite songs to sing for kicks and without warming-up are those done by Voltaire, so I'm not sure what that says about me.
