My African Talking Drum. Don't know how to play it, I just wanted one after I found out Jason Steele has one.

A dried Piranha.

I think I win.
Part of a whales spine. I think you'll find I win. Regrettably though I had to get rid of it. At the moment though? A giant Chinese fabric print and a glass globe.
Ah-hah! But the question was what is the the random-est object you own, not own or have previously owned.

^_^
Yes I still own it. It just isn't in my room anymore.

A Wii. I have NO IDEA why. It's a completely useless object with no purpose other than being a paperweight.

A rusted saber from the colonial era of the country I live in, and a very unique kris. Never seen one like it anywhere else.

ten CCs of gold nanoparticles (PINK WATER!) and 50 ccs of elemental mercury.
Neat - hope you keep the mercury cool =P

My stuff is quite similar in a chemical sense...I have handmade raw nylon, some 100000 year old volcanic ash (from a specific eruption) and, on a different note, a plastic replica (bendable, naturally) of Gumby and Poky. =)

I 'own' cooler random stuff but I can't take it out of the lab. =S

I have a model calculator. It doesn't work.

I own a collection of bottlecaps.

A large metal spoon that hangs from a nail in the wall.

A mismatched pair of shoes, one size 6 1/2, the other size 10. I felt like donating them, then thought that would be cruel.

A little tiny treasure chest with padding on the inside that was given out as a freebie gift for opening a checking account at a local bank. The thing is completely useless for holding money as its too small for bills and oddly shaped for coins... however it seems to hold DS games perfectly...as if the darn thing was designed to hold and protect them.

I have a number of cats-eyes stolen from roads late at night..usually when drunk..
In my defence, they're shiny.
