1. Empire Strikes Back
2. The Last Jedi
3. A New Hope
4. Return of the Jedi
5. The Force Awakens
6. Phantom Menace
7. Solo
8. Rogue One
9. Revenge of the Sith
10. Rise of Skywalker
11. Attack of the Clones

Empire Strikes Back likely only makes the number 1 spot due to nostalgia, otherwise The Last Jedi meets if not exceeds it in pretty much every way. Phantom Menace (I never really was annoyed by Jar Jar or kid Anakin) was easily the best of the Prequel Trilogy, it would work as an entirely self contained thing and didn't require everybody to be massive morons 9/10ths of the time for the plot to work... just 6/10ths, which is typical of a Star Wars movie. Solo was decently plotted and the guy they got to play young Han was a pretty good fit, but I feel like the movie would've clicked with me a lot better had it came out before The Force Awakens thanks to Solo meeting his end in that movie. Rogue One had some interesting characters like the K2 Droid but really felt like this movie would've worked a LOT better as a few episodes of a TV series like Rebels than it would have as a live action movie. The story of how the Death Star plans got to the Rebels has been told far better before, and it just had this... tone over it that just didn't feel right.

Revenge of the Sith was decent but far too much idiocy, and I put Rise of Skywalker almost at the bottom due to retroactively making the rest of the Sequel Trilogy much much worse due to utterly ignoring or retconning rather than making use of the numerous plot setups The Last Jedi had like it should have, otherwise it was watchable. Attack of the Clones has to take the bottom spot by virtue of being the first and I hope only Star Wars movie I will never watch more than once, just from how generally blah it is and being even worse about the idiot plotting than Revenge of the Sith.

Yeah, I'd probably just rank them in chronological order too. Star Wars just kept getting worse and worse and I gave up on the franchise after the boring mess that was The Force Awakens.

Rogue One, to me, feels like Star Wars trying to go down the "dark and gritty" route. And while Star Wars is a big enough franchise (both in and out of universe) to tell that kind of story, for me, least for the films, it isn't my thing. For me, Star Wars is escapist space adventure. That doesn't preclude it from having deeper themes at time (see RotS and TLJ for instance), but Rogue One has a "grunge" feel that feels out of place. So did Solo in a sense, but even if its aesthetic was grim, it was still a fun film.

I just wish they stuck with the original idea for Rogue One, about a high stakes ensemble heist movie. I would have 100% been down for a Mission Impossible in space instead of... whatever the hell that movie was.

If ye'd be willing to listen to the opinion of someone who really doesn't give a shit about Star Wars..

Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope are really the only ones that I find entertaining enough. I'll even give a passing grade to The Force Awakens for being a pretty entertaining space adventure movie, if you disregard its lazy attempts to recapture the old Star Wars feeling.

Everything else.. just ugh. I mean, the prequels can be seen as enjoyable in a Doctor Quinn: Medicine Woman kind of way, but Rogue One was dull as fuck, and The Last Jedi gave me Batman v. Superman flashbacks. And I'm never going to bother with Rise of Skywalker or probaly any future Star Wars movie.
