Ranting!!!

Everyone likes to rant about little things they see in their day to day lives that annoy them and i want to know yours.

At the moment mine is the light on my tv when its on standby. Its so bright!! What was wrong with the little red light they used to use? Why does it have to be this bloody 40w blue bulb? It's as bright as my tv!!!!

Anyone else feel the same way?

My friend really annoyed me today, he acted like he new more about a game that he literally played for 5 minutes then me, who has finished it twice. I ended up walking out of his house he pissed me off so bad.

Ok, I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but it was about immersion in Oblivion. I agree that the game yanks you out in regular intervals in regards to it's horrific diallogue. But this was about character skins. Now, I was always impressed that the NPCs weren't all the same, that the vast majority of them are individually skinned. My friend kept telling me that he was in a city, he didn;t specify which, but that he bumped into at least three different characters with the same skin in his 5 minutes of gameplay. I kept telling him that I've probably spent of 60 hours of game play time in Oblivion and hadn't ever noticed that at all. But think the opposite.

Today I needed to:

. Renew my passport even though I know it WON'T be ready for my flight. All because my citizen's ID card hasn't arrived yet.

. Starting thinking about buying Christmas presents, and actually buy them.

. Cash some cheques which are almost overdue

. Finish a load of work and blog about it

. Buy tickets for a band's last ever gig, but I can't go because it clashes with other arrangements

But it has all got me too worked up, so now I'll probably just play Wipeout HD all day trying to get to Zone Zeus and swearing a lot when I don't succeed.

In my defesne, I was running out of things to talk about, his house was boring and it was getting awkward sitting there in silence. And it wasn't his opinion that pissed me off it was his arrogant attitude. His 'I-know-everything' mentality regardless of my experience in the game and his lack thereof.

Got a couple of those on my course and another one living with me.. so yeah, fun times! Though they do provide the most satisfying moments when you finally manage to get them to shut up and sit down... usually by using those words but that may just be me. This may or may not be swiftly followed by a backhanded slap.. for comedic value of course.

my personal rant for today has to be the mark schemes for Biology and chemistry AS and A2 level exams:
They are COMPLETELY nonsensical, they don't test whether you understand, they test whether or not you use an exact key phrase and treat the reader like a moron by stating and restating the same goddamn stupid fcking RETARDED things over and over again. Therefore I have to spend hours and hours more time revising whether I should say setting up an electrical difference, or say setting up an electrical potential difference known as a resting potential... [/rant]

Oh my god, I can't freaking believe my sister trying to convince me that her bf who hits her is a good guy. I try to explain to her that no man who hits a woman is worth anything, yet she retorts, "but he loves me..." BLAH BLAH BLAH, if that's the life you want, don't ask me for help again the next time he hits you. I've already done plenty to help get you out of that situation and yet, you keep going back. BTW, I'm calling in the thousands of dollars that I loaned you over the past few years, so, with interest, that would be around $5,000, so get crackin!

1 inch piece of black electrical tape.

I tend not to rant, but instead let it out in little doses where it tints all aspects of conversation for the next few days. Not bringing it up heaps but just a general negetivity or cynicism towards most things remotely related to it.

I hate it when people go on about little things. The other day my girlfriend burnt my dinner. I didn't rant or get angry, I just punched her in the jaw and hid her insulin.

i hope it was sarcasm.... my rant is i shoveled snow 2 days ago and it kept coming back and now i hate the snow!! and today we getting an inch of ice and 4-10inches again of snow. in another 2 days more snow and another 3 days MORE SNOW!!!! I HATE SNOW..... [/rant]

Today I was late and had the morning off. My friends and I went to Morrisons, and I leant my friend some money which I didn't get back. All I've had to eat all day is some toast, then I had a sugar rush earlier but totally crashed out after lunch and felt like crying. Couldn't do my work in Media studies because I had no clue what to do, and the teacher treat me like a retard. I just sat there, shaking and trying to control my anger so everyone thought I was a freak. >_>

Blah, Thursday's are a bad day.
