O.T: Well, I don't listen to rap ever, but I KNOW theres stuff out there that exists that can be heaps of fun to listen to, and really quite clever. I'm not the best source for info though.
It's Mike Shinoda from Linkin Parks side project which is all hip-hop and no rock.
It's actually pretty good. Whether you like LP or not, it's not worth comparing, cause apart from his voice, it's nothing like each other.
Well, I must say, this thread was exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. Unfortunately, a new problem as arisen now. Unlike what I usually listen to, rap heavily emphasizes lyrics, and that makes it hard to overlook how pissed off they all sound. Anyone know an artist who's easier on the ears of the emotionally sensitive?

I wasn't into any of the more violent stuff to begin with, but since getting into hip-hop I can appreciate, particularly things like Wu-Tang and Biggie Smalls - it's storytelling, not so much posturing, even if it is talking about life hustling ('cause hey, some live like that).
