My fault then for being unclear: porn is FANTASTIC. Thing is, porn is its own category. It kinda crosses the boundary from virtual to real even when it's pictures on a screen. This is because sex, unlike shooting guns or throwing footballs or rolling around giant balls of stuff to save the universe--is primarily a *mental* activity: the most important sexual organ is the brain, so.

When violence in a game or anime works me up I want to fight someone, normally in unrealistic ways. When porn works me up I want to bone someone.

Not what I said: not talking about what it works you up to do, talking about the effect it has on you while you're doing it being similar to if you were doing in real life.

I'm not sure what happens to you when you watch porn, but when I do all it does is arouse me (working me up) and make me wish I was having sex with one of the actresses. Which is basically the same as what violence does if done right.

Um no, there's the feeling of having to fight people in the street, and I'm not looking for that feeling when I play Street Fighter at all.

Mostly because of the type of fighter street fighter is. But devil may cry 3 sure as hell made me want to fight demons with a massive sword and two pistols.

Also, I really never feel like killing enemy soldiers when playing a game, at least not with the same frequency or degree that I feel like having sex with porn stars while watching erotic cinema.

Maybe it's different for you, but when I watch porn, I want to simply have sex with the actresses: I don't particularly care about becoming a pizza delivery guy and while I'd love to know the plumbing trade in this economy where it's a job that can't be outsourced, I'm really not picturing myself as either of those two things while thinking about sex with the actresses.
