Rare games you have lying around

Rarest game I have lying around is a mint big boxed copy of System Shock 2. Doubt it goes for much though these days!

Sadly, I doubt anyone even remembers it....

I torrented it, only worked once on my PC never again afterwards sigh

going for 50 bux on ebay, not too shabby.

Bloodnet (on 3.5 disks) going for around 50 bucks, not shabby there either

collector's edition fallout 3 vault tech lunchbox/bobblehead going for around what i paid, 50 bux BUT it's selling in the uk for around 90 pound, which is considerably more, so again not too shabby.

I have an old Air Raid game from back in the day. Never played it so the box is still unopened. I think i heard somewhere a few years back that it was pretty hard to find. I dunno maybe ill try to sell it though Im not sure anyone will actually want it.

... I... you... that... if you really do have that it's worth a few thousand. Didn't you see that article about that guy selling a barely used still boxed copy of it for $31k so a mint one would be worth even more.

I know I have some harder to find stuff but rare and worth anything? Beats me, but probably not, heh.

FF7 original, Ico, Cubivore, Electroplankton, Dragon Warrior 2...*hunts around a bit* Some misc. Intellitivion and ooold PC stuff. I should go web hunting one of these days and see if any of the stuff I'm not likely to play is worth anything.

I still have my "Worms Battle pack" which came with worms 2, worms armageddon, worms world party and the worms blast demo. I think worms 2 is pretty rare now.

After reading about that guy getting 31K for a copy of Air Raid I decided to look through the old collection of SNES games I had sitting in a cabinet. I didn't find any super rare games and most probably aren't even worth the plastic and circuitry that their made out of, but (using eBay as a reference point) I found that the copy of Alien VS. Predator I have is worth around 20-30 bucks. Considering it has a sticker on it saying 2 for $5 night it's not bad.

Then there where the obscure titles that where worth less then I thought they would be, like Mecarobot Golf (yeah it's a game about androids that play golf) or Jeopardy Deluxe Edition.

So what are those old game you have that may save you from abject poverty one day?

Joust for the Atari, Jade Cocoon, Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy Tactics (on PSone), system shock II, Parasite Eve, Fear effect 1 and 2. That's about it.

Big box Dune 2 for the pc.
Wolfenstein 3d floppies.
Big box Freespace 2 for the pc.
Loads of 93-99 RTS games, all big boxed and in mostly perfect condition (WC, C&C, RA, Total Anihilation, AoE 1 and 2, StarCraft).

No way i'm ever selling any of those. Memories. And Freespace 2 I play once a year anyway.

The rarest things (if they can even be classed as that) I have are Final Fantasy 7 and Fallout 3: Lunchbox edition (got it for just under £20)
