Who knows. As much as i miss the great memories of old Rare, don't treat the Kinect like it will always be a crap and gimmick device used for crap indie games.

IMO, the Kinect has major potential to bring a whole new era for gaming. Again, sure that right now it's pretty much a gimmick device for profit and does not bring any decent games to the table besides i guess..."Michael Jackson Experience" *Shutters*. But if the developers actually put some serious thought into making some serious AAA titles for the Kinect, i think it can become a real success.

The link below is a comic i read a couple of months ago. It is as i described it, a COMIC (or concept art), but not only it was pretty funny, but it also made me think that if they made an improved version of the kinect to be like that in the future along with some actual serious games into the improved Kinect, It will bring many possibilities and options along with innovation to gaming as a whole.

Just my opinion. I don't think it totally relates to this thread but i saw in the OP it mentions that little part about Rare announcing they'd stick to only making Kinect games. Like just making Kinect games is something trivial and not worth the effort. Maybe Rare could start fresh and finally for all these years get back in the game (no pun intended) by potentially creating more great memories into our lives.

...Or nothing will happen and it will continue to make games it is making today and still be a laughing stock to hardcore gamers around the world. But time will time.
