Rarest stuff you've seen or caught in a Pokemon game

Shiny Rayquaza.

Yep, a black, shiny Rayquaza. I didn't even know it was shiny. I just thought the game was broken.

EDIT: I did some research and I now know there is always a shiny Rayquaza in Emerald. Sadness is growing inside. Now that I think about it, I caught a shiny Pidgey. That was certainly eventful.

No there isn't, mine is from Emerald and isn't shiny, and I have a friend who tried real hard to get a Shiny Rayquaza in his copy of Emerald to no avail. What you have is rare.

I've never got a Shiny outside of Gyrados, the event Legendary Bests (Suicune and friends) and in Crystal Magby (There's a %50 chance you'll get a shiny baby Pokemon from the egg the Day Care couple gives you at your first meeting). I have Pokerus and some traded shinies though.

I caught a shiny Gastly once. Yeah, blue smoke looks COOL on a Gastly.

But that's not all. It also had Pokerus. How freaking rare is that?

I know that there's about a 1/8000 chance of getting a shiny. I'm pretty sure Pokerus has a 3/65000 chance of occuring. Any math-buffs out there know what the odds are of catching a shiny with Pokerus?

I've caught a shiny Diglett (which is now a shiny Dugtrio) and a shiny Luvdisc - both in HeartGold.

They both suck pretty bad...

Though I did catch the Diglett in the Safari Zone at level 40-something, which I still cannot fathom how I managed, 'cause I usually have the worst of luck in the Safari Zone.

In pokemon crystal I had a shiny elekid was orange but since it was 8bit it didnt look as cool as my shiny salamence which is green and awesome in ruby then in platinum I captured a shiny sneasel its so pink and cute also have a shiny mamoswine & Arbok(from fire red) but there not that great to look at so Ive had a good amount of shiny pokemon

Ho-oh (when i went to go catch it, without soft resetting)

Latias (Without soft resetting, but it took me six different tries to catch her. Caught her between Celadon and Saffron)

These were all in one play through, without cheating. and yes, i did not include the red Gyrados.

I'm excited. the list is growing.

in my Heart Gold. This is out of some... what is it? 30 pokemon per box... i have... five just eggs and a sixth box with eighteen more in. So thats... 168 eggs. And so far i hatched... 70 of them, so i found four (remember, odds of shiny by breeding is 1 in 64):

Larvitar (girl, adamant, says she likes to thrash around. I named Aunt Flo just to be a jerk)

Murkrow (male, unfortunately. I need a female one for the theme)

Swablu (trying to get all the dragons i can since its probably going ot turn upside down on the smogon lists)

and another eevee, whihc i'm going to turn into a Flareon

More will come, cause I found a few, but I need to check my Heart Gold game. Though it should be said, on all those games I had at least 250+ hrs of gameplay, and of that... probably the average is 25-50 beating all the gyms, the rest is just screwing around and EV training. I know on my pearl I had 400+ hrs. On my HG I've got close to 600hrs

I caught a shiny Medicham once. It was both the first and last shiny pokemon I encountered, despite playing since Red/Blue. I managed to trade it for some Mudkip with perfect IVs and a neat-looking Japanese name. Yes I know shinies didn't exist in the first ones, and no I'm not counting the Red Gyarados in Gold/Silver.

I once caught a Haunter with pokerus. As for Shiny pokemon, I remember two I have caught. First is a Golbat in Ruby, second was a Horsea (now a badass Kingdra I recall) in the same game.

Now I've got the urge to play Pokemon again...

In the wild, I've only ever seen (and was lucky enough to capture) a shiny Rufflet. It's currently a level 80-something Braviary. Other than that I've bred a few shiny Pokemon such as a red Duskull and, pink Dratini. I know there are more but they're on my soul silver and I can't remember them at the moment.

Back when Pokemon silver was new I caught a shiny green Oddish. Also, in Ruby I was fighting Groudon and was going to use my master ball on it since I didn't want to KO it with LVL 100 Argron. I accidentally through a normal poke ball at it. To my amazement it didn't break out and I caught it.

TLDR: I though a poke ball at Groudon and caught it.

I caught Reshiram with my first ultra, but that's nowhere on the same level. Plus Black was by FAR the easiest pokemon game I've ever played. Lessee The rarest I've ever gotten. Shiny whismur on emerald. And then in black I have....

Some sap traded me the krookodile, and getting shinies is so much easier in black that I feel like it doesn't count as rare anymore. I beat black in a week, but I only played it a few hours each day.. Pokemon has gotten easier...Oh, and my Kyogre is Level 99. Because it's my angel, how I love it...

The only shiny I have ever seen was back in Ruby, and it was a Crabby. I was grinding a little outside of that mountain where you can find Larvitar and Pupitar and was just going in and out of the cave for experience fights. I eventually encountered the Crabby, and it being like 3 am didn't even mentally register the "shiny" flash nor the fact that he was purpleish.

Fought it, fainted it

Then I stopped for a second and wondered if the fact that he was purple meant he was rare- like the Gyarados.

Restarted so fast my GBA puked and did the exact same steps (I was saving every five or so minutes- very paranoid about battery life). Alas, to no avail. The Crabby eluded me.

Black Charizard, which is damn awesome, shiny eevee and a couple of others on White. Fairly simple.

I have a shiny Meloetta also on White (648), and a shiny Zoroark (571). Neither of which are hacks, or cheat cartridge pokemon. Genuine shiny's. And neither are Japanese
