I'm a closet nerd so I have a few things that I've picked up over the years.
Collectors edition of Dark Heresy & all the other books despite not having played an RPG for about a decade other than 1 or 2 abortive attempts and having no plans to do so in future, I just had to have it, same with WHFRP2, bought all but 2.

Also some of old early rave/hardcore tunes that the right person would pay a lot for, a few 001's and white labels including Labworks and D.O.A's 9D4 album *waits for gasps of awe*...no one has a fucking clue what I'm on about do they? *grumble* and a copy of 'Arise' signed by Sepultura woo!

You see the same crap for games tho, old SNES games like Secret of Mana for over £100.
Perhaps I shouldn't have given all my old SNES games to my little sister, but she won't have broken them, specially not that one, she loved it.

I don't know exactly how much truth there is in any of these, because I've never properly asked about them and how we got them, but my Aunt supposedly threw away handwritten letters from Elvis Presley which obviously would be worth a fortune today, and we have a storage box thing (can't remember the proper name from it) that supposedly belonged to Charles Dickens.

The king of whales holy balls that must be worth a bit, I didn't know those krill munching fuckers even had a system of government...

Seriously now...probably the Prince of Wales, they haven't had a king since the early 1200's.

The only real thing I can think of is a first edition, out-of-print hardcover comic by Don Rosa that is quite rare in DK.

I don't know how collectible people think this is, but I have an original issue Fender Jag-Stang which was Kurt Cobain's signature model.
Not worth that much I think, only about £600, or they were around November last year :p, looked into buying one but decided not to.

Ah well, I was never planning on selling it anyway. It's a bit too beat up for that, now :p

Still, I enjoy it for what it is, a well-crafted guitar, which plays well, looks unique and is available in a groovy blue colour.

Maybe it isn't a collector's item then, unless you're like me and a massive Nirvana fan. :p

On a continuous guitar note, I also have a Rickenbacker 330, not necessarily a collector's item, but very flash all the same.

I don't really collect too much but I am proud of a few things I have, like Alundra and Silent Hill on the Ps1 and Bangai-O on the Dreamcast. I also have the punisher comic Year One issue 4, which is much harder to find then you'd think. When I finally found one it was pretty cheap but they never seem to show up on eBay.

I have a few unopened LP's of small 80's rock bands that didn't get big. Doubt they're worth much though. =P

Um, I have a $2 bill that I've been holding onto for awhile...

And I also have this cool old book printed in 1938 called "The Hound of Culain" - it's about the old Irish myths of Cuchulain. Pretty schweet.

You can get $2 bills at Monticello I think to this day, actually. My dad and I went there many years ago and I got a couple then, which I thought was pretty fucking sweet.
