No More Heroes ~ It's good...very good, in fact. Definitely one of the best Wii-exclusive titles out there. NMH excels because it's different...it's aesthetic is largely satirical, subtly tackling various social issues as well as a society that is driven too much by wealth and competition. Behind all that artsy-fartsiness is...well, blood! Lots of it (If you didn't get the PAL version, at least). If they were to make a Jedi lightsaber game on the Wii (That was actually half-decent), it'd play a lot like no more heroes. Hackin' 'n slashin' with enough motion control to make you feel active. If you have a Wii and you have a thing for ultraviolence, satire, a plot that doesn't take itself too seriously, and 4th wall-shattering metahumor...then get it. Unfortunately, the game's GTA-esque open world is a facade. There's only a few places to go in-between missions. There's no real freedom in the game, despite the relatively large game world. All it amounts to is a bunch of boring driving around that could've been avoided with a very clean area-select system that just zapped you to each location. You wouldn't be missing anything if they did take that route. Missions are also mildly repititive, with only a few wild pitches thrown at you through the game. It always amounts to kill this many enemies to keep going through the stage. So...
Pros: Funny, rich with satire and parody, nice sword controls, unpredictable
Cons: Repetitive, open world that ends up being linear and devoid of exploration
