No Nirvana fans in the house? Damn...
I remember watching that broadcast on TV back in the day; it was truly amazing. However, their music hasn't aged well with me and I honestly don't really care to hear their songs all that much any more, save for a few. 6/10 Happy now? ;-)

For Chokebore's Coat, I'm gonna say 7/10.

For me, I like this.

Hmmm... 7/10. Listening to it, the song just seemed a lot longer than it really was, not necessarily in a good way. Almost like the band had three different songs they wanted to string together. However, the guitar playing was very interesting, and I rather enjoyed the end. Side note, I don't really care for people who sing with the punk-styled voice which this band's singer employs but that's just me.
That album is awesome, but the songs don't stand well on their own. I've tried to incorporate songs from the De-Loused album on mix CDs and it just doesn't work.

Here's some classic, messy guitar work for you...
Afghan Whigs - Miles Iz Ded [http://favtape.com/search/miles+iz+ded]
...it's got some sweet, creepy lyrics too.

Eh, it was ok. Not as heavy as I usually like stuff, and aside from that, it just didn't do anything to grab me. 5/10.

Here's another:

Destruction Overdrive by Black Label Society [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-aSL4E8VUg]

The frontman, Zakk Wylde, is Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist. He's just fuckin' nuts with an axe, and a great singer too, love BLS.

Being a Canadian, I think it my moral duty to enjoy canadian artists that don't have the name Nickelback or celine dion. This wasn't my favourite song from K-OS, but this is the way I think rap music should have migrated to, not the crap you hear about making money. I would give this song a solid 8.5/10, its catchy, it has good lyrics, and K-OS is very talented.

Now how about some Ska music for you guys to chew on:

I present Mad Caddies - Backyard http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=Yw0IY9mKIHo

enjoy enjoy enjoy

Not my thing, I'll give it a 4.5. It wasn't that bad, I just really don't care much for it.

It's alright, not everyone can have good taste in music. =P

I will say though that the music video has some odd editing. This [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBbJMgl_x88] is what it sounds like on the album.

A true classic and a powerful message of peace. 9/10.

Hey Shivari, since you like Paramore so much, what do you think of Flyleaf [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWVX9Yi4M5E]? They sound very similar to me.

The Stones definitely had some truly great songs. 7/10 because it's got a good groove, but blues rock and harmonicas don't hold the same weight as they used to. ;-)

I'm just going to through this one out there again because nobody commented on it...
Archers Of Loaf - Lowest Part Is Free [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=MB6Xh1fZ1wY&feature=related]
...these guys had a great noodley sound that hasn't been equaled. If you're at all familiar with Crooked Fingers, this was before that. Besides, the video has a mullet!

The Ballad of Black Mesa is pure win. I generally don't rate stuff out of ten, so I'm just going to say 10/10 and be done with it.

And [a href=http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/skyclad%2Binequality%2Bstreet/video/x5i9oo_skyclad-inequality-street_music]here[/a] we have Skyclad's 'Inequality Street'.

7/10

Try some true Jamaican music, none of that Sean Paul bullshit:

EDIT: I haven't a clue how to make the URL link say the name of the song, but it's called "Bad From Mi Born" by an artist named Munga
