Pretty good, I'd prolly like it more if I was in the mood.

Tripod - Rock Eistedfodd

The first link is an AMV with good sound quality.

This link is the actual concert footage, but it's audio isn't as good.

From the surfing album? There isn't an Aphex twin track I don't like there's just some I like less then others.
Dunno, its under the name Polygon Window rather than Aphex Twin, I got most stuff on 12" single rather than album...Flap head, Phloam, Digeridoo, can't remember the names properly offhand, I'd have to do a substantial amount of digging.

On that note though, selected ambient works vol 2 would be my fave Aphex Twin stuff.

Apologies to all for using a thread instead of going to PM's, but having just realised I should I can't be bothered to re type everything.

7/10, I generally can't give bands like tripod anything higher than an 8 simply because of the premises on which the songs are created. Don't get me wrong, I love humour as much as the next guy, but I believe that 9's and 10's should be songs that stir such a massive amount of emotion. Pretty good song overall, catchy chorus, funny lyrics, but not one of tripod's best. =p

Okay, the song I'm choosing is:
"And So We Run" By David Usher (unfortunately I can only link you to his main site for it since it is on a newly released cd).
http://www.davidusher.com/ It is the third song on the player in the top right, sorry to be annoying but if you like this kind of music, you are certainly in for a treat with powerful lyrics. =O

That David Usher is awful and deserves to be flogged. Sounds like a mediocre version of the already mediocre Coldplay.

Try this 'un for size.

Prince of the Rodeo by Turbonegro.

Uhh, really not my thing either. Although, I laughed at your comment about Usher and Coldplay.

Well done sir.

Here is mine: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6zvBD3CsI0M

A bit different, but man I LOVE this band.

A mediocre Coldplay? What the hell were you listening to because they are nothing alike. If you mean by the fact that both the singers are actually singing rather than talking and grunting like your music Oo

...I'm far too tired to list the shortcomings of Coldplay (except: Chris Martin has a relatively weak voice.) No idea who David Usher is though.

I can rate Bloodflowers 10/10 without even listening to it. However, for the sake of this thread... (click)

I'm not a huge Shinedown fan, and this song really didn't do a lot for me. But it wasn't bad, and its certainly not a terrible song. Plus I like hard rock style songs. 6.5/10

but honestly, if you can deal with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krmowThBYUk this song, more power to you. XD

Well well, fancy seeing you here Kateatsmouse! The internet's getting smaller and smaller it seems. In terms of your song, I really liked the creepy oddness of it, but it bid lacked a little bite as far as I was concerned, so I'd rate it at around 7.5/10

And I'll throw this weepy duo at the readers of the Escapist: Damien Rice- I Remember http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYPCYboEpmk

Holy shit. Great stuff there. 9/10 I've never heard anything quite like it before. Thank you.

One of my favorite covers... Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=HDa1MZQ7onk]
I still like the original more though... Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=RXW3J0CmbjM]
Then again, I liked my Sega Genesis and... Moonwalker - Round 1-1 [http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=lF89npFbn8g&feature=related]

Smooth Criminal is my second favourite Michael Jackson song after Dirty Diana... so an easy 9/10.

Here's a piece from Beethoven's 5th piano concerto:
