I do have a job and am in college, but I have only two friends that actually did stuff with me, and now they are going out together. If I do see them, it is more of them hanging out and me just being there. Can't afford my own place, and don't really like my family much.

probably 8 or 9. Leaning towards 9 a bit.

Life is very good at the moment. good friends, competent social life, bad at sport (but I don't mind) and a clear idea of my future.

You know, I think you all are rating your lives realistically and relative to what's expected in the world.

High paid jobs, friends, entertainment e.t.c. all are nice - but if I had the chance to actually design myself a new life to hold the rating of 10...

I can think of a million worlds I'd prefer to live in than this one, so with that in mind it's a 3/10 for me.

It's rather pointless to try to "rate" one's life.

We only get the first hand experience of our own life, after all.

Every other example of "life" tends to be fictitious, either told by someone, which doesn't remove potential lying, and still doesn't give you the first hand experience when it comes to a lot of things, you only get the reflections of someone on something that might not even be true... Or it's completely made up, like the life you see in a movie, a fictitious book, or a sitcom.

9/10. I complain about it a lot, but back in reality it's pretty good. I've got clothes, I've got a home, I've got my music, a computer, a too-large collection of game consoles and, surprisingly, some money remaining. There are some things I wish weren't missing from my life, but that's always going to be the case.

9/10 great school, great friends so great social life, amazing family and house, smart so exams do not worry me at all at the moment. The only thing missing is that extra someone.

But there are loads of lesser flaws, so it isn't perfect.
