A government shutdown can delay. A weeklong walkout can delay. A mass protest can delay. The senators of my own state delayed a vote for months. Of course, they were Republicans so they actually understand how to wield power.

People need that relief package MORE than they need to stall an inevitable nightmare justice. You are talking about people becoming homeless and dying because of the relief package with MORE stalling when they may not be able to even stop the senate from doing what they want. Senate democrats aren't even needed to approve her. People can only borrow beg and bribe to stay alive for so long.
