I rather not say more, but I had this for month or longer
A psychologist would be good for you.

When i was like 5 i had guite often a dream about a lake, wich was on my way home and i would always end up playing on the water, then a black and white monster would appear and eventually catch me no matter how hard ran, fell down and crawled on the knee deep water. *shrug*

Nowdays a recurring theme is that i beat endlessly some fantasy thingy(dwarf, golem, werewolf, ivisible man). They are stronger but not as fast or good fighters as i am.

Not scary, more like frustrating.

Holy shit, i just realised that i can just describe them perfectly as boss fights that i wake up from before they end.

Thankfully most of my dreams are pleasant and sometimes even under my control.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that i handled my nightmare problem around 8 years old by half realising that its a nightmare and physically opening my eye-lids with my hands, and when i realised thet i could do that i started to have less and less nightmares.

Same here, it's especially annoying when you're trying to forget them.
Word. It's that kind of dream that can easily turn into a nightmare.

Both my parents are, and I have already delt with it.

"Infinite dreams I can't deny them
Infinity is hard to comprehend
I couldn't hear those screams
Even in my wildest dreams" Infinite Dreams by Iron Maiden, written by Steve Harris about his recurring nightmares.
OT When I was little I had a recurring nightmare about having my tongue stuck to a cold train track, this happened after I watched A Christmas Story... I was like 4 don't judge me...

I always have the same abstract dream whenever I get very ill and have a fever.

Theres really no point in describing it, its very odd... I simply refer to it as "Red lollipops coming over a hill"

I always have a dream of getting lost/or finding a secret room in a mansion. But it is always a different style of mansion. One dream it was a mansion made completely of rotting wood, while another time I was in a mansion and that is best described as a castle with a modern theme.

Over the past year or so, I've had the same dream every few nights.

I'm walking through a dark hallway and I can see a light at the end shinning down on a small figure sitting in a chair.
I get closer and I figure out its a dark haired girl sitting with her back to me.

I can see she's shaking. I ask if she's alright. She turns to me and she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. She's slightly weeping and shaking.

I ask again if she's okay. She then gets up and briskly walks towards me and hugs me tightly. She continues to cry and I hold her gently, reassuring her that it'll be okay.

She then leads me down to sit with her, she's still holding me. She stops crying and says, "I've always loved you." and then she crumbles to ash in my arms.

Can anyone help?

Ever dream this man?
That is the most bizarre thing I have seen all year...
I have not seen him in any of my dreams, although now his face may appear in my nightmares.

For five years I drempt I was a knight of the round table. The condition was that I only drempt this on saturday mornings on the days where I was going to go visit my dad.

Messed up isn't it? I'd like to see Freud try to crack that one.

I literaly had a premonition thing of 9/11. People don't beleive me though.

What happend was i was on a flight, they never gave the flight number though.

But i was looking out the window and i saw the twin towers, I couldnt move, then we hit them and the plane ripped open and i started falling. I woke up when i hit the ground.

Sure its not excact but thats way too damned close to be some mind made up shit. This was about a month before 9/11 happend though.
