I loved Xenosaga. Even if 2 was pretty much unplayable, I banged my head against that concrete wall until it fell over for those cut scenes. So yes, damn freaking straight I want that. With a side of the video mode from Xenosaga 3 where you could rewatch all the cut scenes as a movie after you beat the game.
Because I have, you know - rewatched the game as a cut-scene miniseries. I just wish they'd done that in Xenosaga 2 so I didn't have to spend that section of the story on YouTube.
Edit: Perhaps I should add that I do this because Xenosaga/Xenogears is, IMO, the best story ever told in gaming. The prettiness of the cut scenes wasn't the important part - the story was. Just to make that clear.
I absolutely agree that some people do take it a bit far but it is still their own opinion. Personally I do not like RPGs never have, but I like FF7 for one reason only, the story. Games to me are all about immersion, think about the best game you have ever played and think about how involved you got with the game. That is exactly how I got with FF7, I am not saying this is my favorite game but it sure does have a great story that you can lose yourself in. To me a game is good if you can lose yourself in it and I would love for a game like that to be remastered so it can be retold over and over again.emeraldrafael said:

Pong. I think the artistic statement of remaster pong in HD with the fanciest graphics available, if people actually get the joke so to speak, will send a message to the games industry.
Oka, I get that. I dont know, like I siad, its not a bad game. But I just see it as a way for the FF people to shove more melodrama between aeris and Cloud and Sephiroth and thats something that the game definitely can do with out. But then again, I'm in the minority.goodwithwords08 said:
I have nothing against story telling, I will say that FF (as a whole) is one of the better story telling games I've seen. Same as the Xenosaga games. So its not that I'm knocking them and saying they're bad, just that there's a lot of filler and stuff that doesnt need to be there and makes it seem sappy. Without them, the story would seem a bit better (though I'm not sure what you'd take out, I havent played either series in years since I finsihed and and when i started picking up Persona games, which are what immerse me).

its very very sad for me to say this..i almost hate myself for it...
but it's too hard for me to enjoy that graphical mess of a game, i hate 2D rpg's like that and i cannot get immersed by it at all, if there was an HD polished remake, i'd highly consider it.
