I can't imagine how much more immature idiotic squawking this will cause in X-box live. Good for the developers for adding a female character but I'm not really in the mood to find out the fan repercussions.
No, in Halo there is a group of supersoldiers named Spartans after the original Greek warriors but not the same thing, in multiplayer you play as groups of these supersoldiers attempting to kill eachother.
