Reaching Game Burnout

I've noticed my play sessions for single player games getting shorter and shorter and my time spent reading things online is taking up a lot more of said time than actually playing games.

Is it just me getting bored of games, or me just not getting engaged by these games? Or have I reached a layer of lazy no man could even fathom before this day?

Or maybe I just can't get engaged by campaigns right now, since I have been playing Payday 2 and Nazi Zombies somewhat a lot lately.

You only feel burnout because this is slowest peroid of releases in what has been so far the end of the longest console cycle. New and fresh innovative games are not going to be released for a matter of months.
