A long time ago when I was first shown Zero Punctuation, I laughed my head off at it.
But a while ago I showed it to my cousin and he hated it and asked me why would I show him something like this (he's seventeen).
Which took me by surprise because I thought something like this was impossible. 0_0
What was peoples reaction to Zero Punctuation when you first showed it to them?
Is it possible that some people just don't like zero punctuation?

I liked it a lot when I first saw it, but they've gone downhill. The last dozen or so have barely raised a smile.

At first I really liked it.

Now it's becoming even more spiteful, and occasionally stupid.

I guess it just depends on the person. I watch religiously, but my housemates are pretty much indifferent to it every week. I still force them to watch it though ;)

I never thought that was possible either... everyone I showed ZP thought it was extremely funny, or said their english wasn't good enough too understand it all. Even my grandma ROFL'd.
I guess your friend is just... well... weird or something.

I enjoy the witty things like "well fuck" with a picture of a well getting screwed, but my brother thinks it's crap. Matters on the person I would guess.

I still love it. Very few people I know watch it, and the only person I've shown it to didn't find it particularly funny. To each his own, I guess.

I don't think the quality's gone down hill at all, even in the beginning there were sometimes strings of videos I didn't find particularly funny, like recently I didn't find the last few funny until Wii Sports Resort, and then all was well again. (Call of Hwarez made me die with laughter)

Simple answer: Yes.

Elaborated answer: Not everyone in the world is into ZP, for the simple reason that everyone develops their own taste growing up.

Also some people just don't understand the humour, or often fail to keep up with it.
We've been used to him for a while now, so we can understand what he's on about, also he's discussing things to do with our overall culture on here...

Not everyone is involved with that aswell...

There's loads of reasons and I could be for a while explaining it.

Which is why I'm just gonna leave with the simple answer again.

Yes, it's possible for people to not like Zero Punctuation.

(That said, I still like him, albeit he's hti the stage where he's only occasionally making me laugh now.)

Loved it at first, but like any good drug, the buzz lessens and lessens and you want more until eventually it's just not satisfying. I haven't watched it in a month or two.

The older ones are gold, the newer ones are not as great, but still sometimes get a massive bout of hysterics from me.

Though the line 'The game is about as hard as the marshmellow mans dick in the presence of his grandma' still gets me today. Its delivery is just so seamless and unexpected, it just evokes it from me, even when i resist.

I loved his 2 youtube things but I thought the escapist website might break my computer so I watched that Ranting Monkey Guy on youtube until I accidentally stumbled on this site.

Could only make out half the words he were saying, and I thought it was pretty weird. But now I'm a huge fan, and have some ZP t-shirts (mostly cause they're funny and look cool). Although some don't get why I like him.

I can't say I have laughed really had at ZP for a while, the last two big laughs I got were from the googly eyed pants and then the Branston Pickle in a Creme Egg. It's gone downhill I feel.
Your right but people should give "Yahtzee" a break. He always had fresh humor every week and after 100 episodes I bet you'll still be watching it. :)

That would've been an interesting sight to witness and welcome to the escapist. :)
