Could you not have tried to look a bit actiony and brave? No disrespect but those poses scream more 'underwear model' than dovahkiin. Not really helping the whole image of women in video games here ya know.

lol what is this outta my league shit ? do you really encounter women that are that shallow? i am a feral animal of a woman , that makes weird things .... plays way too many games ... eats way too much dead creatures on a plate ....have zero shame .. nothing that spectacular ..... people need to stop putting themselves down ... male or female i think it is pretty dumb to date someone that is the polar opposite of you and fail at that relationship (i have been there) or go for someone that is by standards super attractive ....rather then find someone regardless of their looks and be dating your best friend on the planet .... i could not fall for someone just because they look pretty ... i can fall for someone that will be neck in neck playing mortal kombat with me , someone i can go fishing with ..... someone that can tolerate large dogs .... someone who is not afraid to act like a ten year old boy .. like me .... but yeah i hear that a lot ....

you mad bro?
Erm no? I just mean exactly what I said.

Women in video games are largely still seen as sex objects, there for the men to look at and not characters in their own right. Stuff like this isn't really helping that. :(

Could you not look nice and like a hero at the same time then?

Or are you saying pretty women/game characters are only capable of posing for the guys?

lol, I'm just an apathetic bastard, no worries bout my self esteem. You do seem like a fun person to be around, though I doubt I could beat you at MK, don't play many fighitng games. That and sometimes I forget people on the interwebz don't know my mannerisms n such. It's not unknown for me to be over the top and sarcastic to an extreme degree.

As for encounter women that shallow, iunno really, most people don't talk to me, which is fine by me. One of the ladies in my class last year said I was intimidating or something *shrug*

Even though I'm not really an Elder Scrolls fan I still find this quite impressive. I particularly like that brass looking mask.

It is good. However I didn't like the eyes, poses weren't very dovakiinish and you were too clean. Still it was good.

Or are you saying pretty women/game characters are only capable of posing for the guys?[/quote] first i would like to ask you , have you played skyrim and seen the female characters???? .... i wanted to make an aela the huntress costume at first till i looked at what she was wearing and it is ten times more revealing than what i have made .. i personally did not feel comfortable walking around like that in fear that i would pop out of the damn top.... ..... i really can not help the shape of my body , unless i inject donut straight into my stomach is that going to change ... and looking nice? lol i look like a monster my eyes , my skin ... covering myself in gore ... (if you been reading a lot of the people on here find that unattractive ) ..ans well the shots taken were however my friend felt like shooting me that day , i thought he did a cool job we even terrorized a childrens park and i posed over a pile of dog poop , is that warrior enough? and i am sorry if you are a feminist or whatever ... but girls have been and continue to be exploited in videogames .... look at lolly pop chainsaw and the girl who made the costume to look just like her ..... i saw no problem with it, she made an accurate costume of a character in a game and she got torn apart by people like you because it was too sexy or whatever .... who cares ... its a costume , i seen more revealing crap distributed in halloween stores ,with zero imagination put into them ..... its people like you who make me want to dress more revealing ... stupid guys will be stupid , people that are interested in building will be interested , jealous girls will be jealous , cool girls will be cool ... thats it really .....

I call troll. No one who has that much respect for the game and craft and works that hard on presenation would start a new account here and start tee-hee'ing with terrible typing skills and write with the voice of a teenager in trying to promote herself to her peers.

Whoever the model is, she is amazing, but there is no way she is the op.

If she is, I have lost all respect for my gender.

I'm sorry, but this is something that's been bugging me in general for a while: Why did you go with Sexy Armor? There's far too much cleavage and skin in designs for female armor in medieval fantasy as is. Not to say you can't make the outfit sexy, but there are ways to do that without exposing tender flesh to an oncoming blade. For example, it would have worked if you'd used the same outfit, but had a layer of leather (or a leather-like substance) underneath.

Excellent work overall, though. I especially like the claw scratches on the helmet.

......really? Instead of complementing the person on the costumes they made, or giving them some pointers on how they could improve it, all you have are negative comments? smh

Firstly lol at the jealous snipe...

Secondly I think you misunderstand me. I have absolutely NO PROBLEM with the costume and I agree with you that there are a lot more revealing outfits in Skyrim (Forsworn leather anyone?). I do have a problem with the poses. I think you could still look great and pose like a hero in action poses, faux fighting with your sword or looking fierce rather than posing coquettishly or rolling around on the floor.

We're currently in a bit of a gender war here on the Escapist, with important issues like the wage gap between genders female portrayal in video games and the degree of coverage that healthcare ought to offer to female-specific issues "slut-shaming" being the prevalent areas of controversy.

OT: Cool helmet, and cool outfit too
