Morrigan raised her arms and blasted a green burst of magic at Shion.

Shion couldn't avoid the ball of Green energy in time and it slammed into her, burning her skin. The pain from it was so excruciating, being coupled with all the other pain, that she let out a scream as it continued barreling into her.

 

[SteakHeart]

Morrigan stood up and aimed to end Shion's pain as quickly as possible. She detatched her other wing and threw it at subsonic speed, straight for Shion's neck.

 

[Fury Is Me.]

Shion had almost no time at all to react to the wing barreling for her neck, breaking the speed of sound, so it slammed into her neck, at the immense speed. There was no time for Shion to even react, the wing had just Broken her neck and was about to break through her neck completly. The last thing from her mouth out of the Shadow game was a muffled grunt/ scream of pain as, for about a half a second, her eyes went back to normal and memories flashed before her eyes. Memories of home. Memories of friends. Her sister, Keiichi, Rika, Rena, and Satoshi. And then, as the life faded from her body, she saw Murasa, for a split second. Her only friend here.
Guys... I'm not coming home... I've made a mistake and now I'm paying for it with my life... I'll miss you, dear friends... Goodbye Mion, Keiichi, Rika, Rena, Satoko, Grandma, Mother, and everyone else... Goodbye Satoshi-kun... And Goodbye, Captain Murasa... Maybe I can join your crew now... Maybe... If I got a second chance... I wouldn't make the same mistakes again... I'm sorry...
As the memories and the thoughts flashed through her mind, Shion didn't notice she was staring straight at Morrigan. And then the Wing went straight through her neck, severing her skull from it's body.

 

[SteakHeart]

Tears flowed like a waterfall from Morrigan's eyes. "NO!" She shouted. "DAMMIT! I DID WHAT YOU ASKED, MELVIN! I DID IT! ARE YOU HAPPY, YOU BASTARD? ARE YOU HAPPY? YOU MOTHERFUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!"

 

[Lambi]

Melvin laughed and laughed. "Just watch your little friend there for a moment." he said as he pointed towards Shion. Something strange was happening. Her head rolled towards her body and reattached itself back onto her body. Melvin stepped forward and pointed towards Shion, who looked at him in confusion and fear. "You have lost this Shadow Game. Your soul belongs to the Shadow Realm now." He chuckled as the Millennium Rod flashed for a moment, than Shion fell backwards onto the floor. The Shadow Realm had claimed her soul, and the power of her soul coursed through Melvin. The shadows all around them started to disappear as they came into view to everyone else.

 

[SteakHeart]

Morrigan walked up to Melvin, and calmly threw him to the floor. She straddled his chest and began to punch him repeatedly in the head, until his nose shattered. Then, she moved downwards, and started punching him in the jaw until it broke as well. She slammed his head against the floor twice, then picked him up off the floor and kicked him in the gut. She let him fall to the floor again, then kicked him in the head. She raised her leg again and brought it down on his stomach, then his crotch.

"Fuck. You."

 

[Safe in the Dark]

As the shadow was lifted Murasa saw Shion on the floor, she panicked and stumbled over to her."Shion?!" She questioned despite how futile she suspected it would be."No... That... That can't be true! Come on! No..." Murasa shook her slightly and kept trying to get some kind of response. "No..." Murasa's voice choked up with each passing word and soon she was slumped over Shion sobbing."Why?! It isn't fair...."

Reisen walked over and looked down."This shouldn't have happened..."

 

[Lambi]

Melvin lay there on the floor, beaten and bruised, and managed a slight grin towards Morrigan before feeling the pain all over his body.

Shion was breathing, but not responsive. Her soul had been claimed by the Shadow realm, doomed to forever wander it in suffering.

Florence walked over to Melvin. "I suppose I should help you now, shouldn't I?" Melvin looked up at him and slightly nodded. Florence sighed and helped Melvin up on his feet. "If you don't mind, I'm going to take him to the hospital area." And so they left, Melvin using Florence to hold himself up.

 

[SteakHeart]

Morrigan walked after them, staring straight at them. "No, you're not," she said. "As General of the Legion of Doom, I forbid Cadet Melvin-" She spat at Marik- "from visiting the hospital wing for the remainder of his lifetime."

 

[Safe in the Dark]

Murasa continued to sob and mutter incoherently over Shion as she dropped the anchor and seemed to have faded slightly.

Reisen simply stood and shook her head.

 

[Lambi]

"Surely you can't ban an injured man, especially by your hands, to visit the hospital in order to recover. It would look bad on your report, now wouldn't it? What would Nero and GLaDOS say if they knew you had severely injured one of your own men?" Florence said to her with a grin as he kept walking. Melvin simply grunted in pain.

 

[SteakHeart]

"Frankly, you deserved it, after what you two did to Shion." Morrigan made sure to let the words sink in, then walked over to Murasa and kneeled next to her.

"I'm sorry," she said. "I didn't want to do it. But I was just sucked in, and..." She trailed off.

 

[Lambi]

"We didn't do a thing to her. It was you who defeated her, after all." Florence said and chuckled as he walked away with Melvin.

 

[Safe in the Dark]

Murasa continued to sob, but then the sobbing stopped and she turned her head towards Morrigan, her eyes were a faded black, with no life to them."I don't want you pity, or your remorse. Get away from her before I strike you down myself." Murasa said without a hint of hesitation, or life in her voice.

 

[SteakHeart]

"Murasa, I'm sorry!" said Morrigan, with genuine pity in her eyes. "I know how it feels to lose someone dear to you. And if I had the chance, I'd go back and save her. But I can't."

Shion woke up in a strange place. It was dark looked like a cave, somewhat. "Unnn... W-What...? Where...!" She gasped as she realized that her hands a feet were nailed to crucifix. It hurt like hell. "Aaah1 W-What the?!" Suddenly, a door opened to the right of her, a large wooden door, and in stepped all her friends, each of them wearing a white kimono, except Keiichi and Satoshi, who were wearing more boyish Japanese clothing. Even Murasa was there. "G-Guys! Thank god! H-Help me! Please!" then she noticed something. Each of them was staring at her with evil, demonic eyes, with a horrible grin across her face. They shook their heads and didn't say another word. "B-But why? Why?" She said. Now that she could see again, she saw that this wasn't just a cave. It was a torture chamber. The walls were covered in various devices and all around layed different tools for torture. Her eyes widened at the sight and she started sweating. "W-Where are we?" she said. And then, someone else walked into the room. It was Morrigan, also wearing a white Kimono like everyone else. In her hand, she held a sterling silver knife of intricate design and her face was the same as everybody elses. She walked towards Shion and Shion looked at her, fearfully. "W-What are you doing?!" She said, crying. Morrigan responded by stabbing her in the arm and whispering into her ear. "Revenge..." Shion screamed in pain as all the others merely laughed at her suffering. When Morrigan pulled the knife out, the wound slowly burned as it healed itself. Then Morrigan stabbed her again. Shion screamed in pain once more as the blade felt as though it was on fire. "S-Stop! P-Please!" Morrigan responded by Stabbing her again and again as Al her friends just watched her and laughed at her. W-What did I do...? W-What did I do to deserve this?! I-I just wanted to go home...

Haruko suddenly woke up from her deep sleep, "Wah? Huh? Hm? What happened? Has Canti come by yet? Did I get the X-ray? What?!"

"You simply fell into a deep sleep." Revan lied, "Do you happen to be narcoleptic?"

"Not that I know of..."
