Eh, not really. I'm like that with Ed, Edd, n Eddy. You my friend, are a fan! Thats nothing to be ashamed of. Rejoice in your fanitude!

Besides, I highly doubt you're the only one, considering a number of escapists here have openly admitted that one of the most touching things they've ever seen is the Jurassic Bark Episode.

I'd post the vid, but I feel more tears arent going to help anything.

Well I'm not googling it, I'm asking the opinions of actual, factual human beings. If you have nothing constructive to say then do not contribute please.
Well I mean that the internet is full of complete idiots spewing their stupid thoughts and giving bad advice, or just crap like 'lulz so kill yuself'. You should really just ask some of your friends who aactually know your situation.

If you can write for shit, or if you enjoy doing so, I tend to find the best thing that clears my head is putting on some music and just...Writing.
Doesn't matter what, be it a novel/story, poems, haikus, even a journal.

I find that my best work comes to me when I'm at my most emotional, then my answers to all my problems come from a peaceful place. After you've worked your stress out, just calm yourself, maybe get in some sort of state where you're nearly drifting off to sleep, have some peaceful music on and just mull everything over, that's how I get my answers.

At any rate, I hope this is some sort of help to you, and my apologies if it isn't.

Wow, I actually know how you feel. XD

Yesterday, I watched my mom pass away when the cancer she was fighting for months finally took her. Although I have a gf who's been wonderfully supportive, I have a few good friends of mine that have been distancing themselves from me lately.

Just try to do things to take your mind off of it, like browse the forums, play games, read, and other stuff you usually enjoy doing. Spend time with your uncle and let him know that you love and care for him. That's the only thing you can really do. I was by my mom's side she was diagnosed with cancer, and I don't regret a single moment. I know that she was at home with family, which is what she wanted most of all. I think that the reason I'm not as torn up about her passing as I could be is because I was there for her since she was diagnosed.

Speaking as someone who just went through what you're going through, you'll make it out OK. Just give your friend some time and space. I think that a lot of times, our friends don't know what to do or say when a friend of theirs is going through a rough patch in their life. I know that a lot of my friends seem to not have the words to say.

For what it's worth, even though I don't know you, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Yesterday? I'm so sorry. I lost my mother quite a few years ago and though I'll always miss her, the pain does goes away.

OP - sleep for sure. You need physical, mental and emotional strength and without sleep you can't have them. This song always helps me:

I'll probably turn on A Pharaoh to Remember. And I have respect for that, when I was younger I lived for Ed, Edd, n Eddy. I think the only reason I don't watch it regularly is because it isn't on TV anymore as far as I know, and I could never find a website to watch them on. If you have a link for a website though then you are my new best friend.

Well, I would smoke some weed, jerk off and take a nap, but I don't know if that's your thing. I guess the best thing you could do is try to talk to somebody about all this like your parents or your friends or even a counselor if you think it's that bad. I wish you luck man, it's gotta suck being in your situation.

Sorry. I have the seasons on DVD, so thats how I watch them, plus some other swag that pretty much guarantees I should have had a V card forever.

Thats a good episode that, I always liked that one.

For me, a bad day is the realization that I have done nothing substantial in life, and that non-existence is personally preferable.

A bad day is the feeling of being bullied by people you know, and not being able to do anything about it, because they're right.

A bad day is rediscovering that you are really a monster.

A good day is when you are successful in forgetting all this.

Weeeeeeeeeeeell when I have bad days I tend to go to the people I like most.
Or I sleep.
Or turn up my music really really loud, dance around the house like a moron singing at the top of my voice. That shit works. Nothing makes you happier than acting like an idiot. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

What you're going through isn't "high school teen angst" because anyone can feel the same way after going through what you have. I would suggest finding something you love doing and get to the doing part.

Things will get better, they always do. Bad times come just like the good. Life is about roughing it through the bad times and persevering.

Never give up, never stop fighting.

You may be hurting now, but before you know it you'll be surrounded by blissful peace and happiness again.

I'd say smoke weed, to be honest.

Aside from that, just try to get lost in something you enjoy. Movie or something.

I'm sorry your going through shit, my sincerest sympathies. [/StrangerManHug]

Seriously? you had a bad day because illness exists and you have an emo beetch for a friend?

neither are something to get so overzealous about, if you want constructive, get a job and realise the world keeps spinning without your emotions.

That being said, wish well upon your uncle, and if a woman won't talk to you she's not worth the time or effort and clearly doesn't think well enough of you to keep you in the loop, there are a ton more affectionate and less smelly fish in the open waters.

I'm kind of a pragmatist, so I'd go for the hands-on approach, forget about the evasive escapism, wich as you pointed out, has already failed. First things first, about your uncle, it's something you'll have to accept, take your time, but the thing is there's not much you can do about his problem. You can however, seize the time you might have left with him, wich you should totally do, else you might regret it.

And about that girl, if she won't answer your calls, ask one of her friends if she might give you a clue about what's going on. If that indirect approach doesn't yield any results either, just go see her personally. Be persistent, but don't get creepy. If she ever cared about you she'll at least hear you out eventually.

Gun range. Works every time. Of course that might not be plausible for you because of your age, but boxing is also fun.

I would suggest relaxing, taking a shower or bath, playing a video game or reading a book while possibly listening to some music you really like and going to sleep. Hope everything works out and gets better.

Sleep, if you can't do that you have to let your thoughts run rampant, nothing will get your mind off such things trust me.
