Nexon has sucked me back into their games, first it was maple story, then mabinogi, then vindictus, and now like a couple thats been in a longterm relationship since middle school I am back to play Dragon nest. Dragon nest draws me by the part rpg elements with fantasy and action. I love the feeling that I'm playing a console game but with my pc.

Check it out and comment below any grievances you've had with nexon, any games of theirs you play currently, and if you will check out dragon nest and if you have already what are your views on it! :)

Dragons Nest and Vindictus are IP blocked for anyone outside of the US. So, they lost themselves a customer.

The EU Vindictus page just shows coming soon.

Edit: Scratch that, seems they updated the Vindictus EU page at the end of July. No beta or game though. >.<

It's a pain to do. Not to mention proxies usually end up being really laggy. Just not worth the effort.

I'd rather just not support them at all, if they're going to put IP blocking in place.

My quip would have to be that I find it so weird I have to go to their site, log in, and start the game from there. I keep on forgetting that.

oh man, I remember playing Maple Story so much. That was a good game, I thought it was a bit too grindy though.

Not only are the ads for Dragon Nest getting really annoying, the trailer makes it look like a bunch of toddlers cosplaying FFX decided to hang out with the residents of the basement of Tristram. Uncaptured interest has not been captured.

my biggest grievance with nexon is Mabinogi only being f2p up to level 20,once you hit level 20 you have to buy a character card to continue leveling past 20.
No? must've not played since forever ago, you can level to whatever, and then when your character turns 20 (3 weeks from age 17 in real life) you can rebirth, I played for ever got to like 1000 as a f2player.

I came into this thread expecting it to be about region locking, as is the case with most Nexon related topics.

I feel compelled to check this game out once I get home from work. I did enjoy DFO and Vindictus when I played them for a little while.
