Really obvious stuff you JUST realized

We have all done this at least once. Something that you have looked at time and time again and then you look at it for the millionth time and you see what everyone else has been seeing. And then you feel kinda stupid.

My most recent example of this is I was watching some old video and an NES came on. For the first time, I realized the it was the acronym for "Nintendo Entertainment System" and that they are, in fact, the same thing. Yes, this really happened. I really AM that oblivious.

In Assassin's Creed 2 you see Ezio's face a lot, and you see Desmond's face very little, but at the end sequence, when I got a decent look at Desmond's face I went "hey, Desmond looks a lot like Ezio" and then it hit me that they were using the EXACT SAME MODEL for Alair, Ezio, and Desmond, with slight changes to the facial hair.

This happens to me constantly. I am so bad about this, it's a little ridiculous.

Like the day I realized that every day isn't just some magical fresh slate where the thing you ate yesterday or the amount of sleep you got can be fixed magically. I don't know if I'm explaining this properly, but it simply made me lament every day that I was sleeping badly or something, but not do anything about it, because TOMORROW things would be different.

There was also another thing that happened to me where I tried to explain it to someone and they looked at me like I was an idiot.

So you know, that doesn't make it a bad thing. Perhaps you're only thinking about it more deeply than someone else who takes it for granted.

Hold down the top of your current window, the bar which holds the minimize, maximise etc buttons, and shake it. All other windows are minimized.

Yeah I know it isn't obvious but a nice tip.
