You know, I had my doubts, but Evans is a good actor. He's just been type cast. He usually plays a cocky role, but that doesn't mean it is the ONLY role he can play. I've seen him in movies were he's more serious and he does a good job.
Remember, just because an actor (Or actress) is type cast doesn't mean they cannnot play other roles.

And, he already looks so much like Steve Rogers it is scary.

i agree about Morena Baccarin, i loved her in Firefly. but i think you need to qualify Amanda Palmer: she's one of those women who can be absolutely stunning one moment, and downright horrifying the next. granted, i think her talent makes her more attractive, but i'm not sure whether i envy or pity Neil Gaiman for getting/having to wake up next to her.
