I havnt really been yelled at much, the only thing I can remember was recently when I first decided to try the Red Dead Redemption multiplayer. Eager as I was to shoot down some other players in good ole' western style, I took up my oldschool rife which I had taken from some dead guy and shot this other guy who was running out of Armadillo with the lawmen after him.

I then got the message "FUCKING LITTLE ****".
I then laughed my ass off by looking at how serious he took an achivement.
By now I've experienced that random killing in the Free Roam is pretty darn annoying.

Being a knife ninja. No, I don't run around a knife people, I only do it in close quaters. Yeah, I got in a sticky situation and through my throwing knife. I peged the little bastard in the face. This is what came over the mic...

Him: FUCK YOU, YOU ******, YOU DON'T KNIFE, YOU SUCK AT THIS GAME GET OFF, FAG!

Me: Who just killed you with great accuracy?

Him: GO FUCK YOUR MOTHER, YOU FUCKING ****** NOOB!

Me:Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Him: *Silence*

Me: That's right. Don't ***** at me because you don't have the brain power to actually aim.

He quit.
wow. just wow. EPIC win. :D

something similar happened to me just thge other day in Bad Company.

I was playing the goldrush map with all the farms and open fields that arcs around the bay. I was just sniping with my barrett and in a true moment of win I headshotted a guy who had literally just popped over the hill half a second before.

He screamed at me for being an x-ray vision n00bing hack and told me to, and I quote:

"fuck off off this game you cheats ******!!! you're so fucking gay you **** why don't you go suck a dick you giant ******!!?"

My reply was simply: "Boom. . . Headshot" (in my best TF2 sniper accent XD) and then I continued playing to uproarous laughter from my teammates.

I continued to hunt him specifically for the rest of the game, just to see what sort of responses I could garner from him. Be assured that none of his other outbursts were any more savoury than the one mentioned above.

Okay, it's a game, but there's four other guys there playing too, and they might not *like* wiping on bosses because you can't keep up the DPS requirement and they might not *like* having to deal with 80g repair bills because you couldn't spend ten minutes researching your class.

You are, in essence, actively choosing to make other player's experience worse. Do you have an issue with griefers in other games too? How about team killers? Because sometimes, that's what this amounts to. Except instead of having to wait 8 seconds to respawn, such team killing can set you back 10 minutes of gameplay per death to cover your repair/reagent costs.

I'm sorry you're "too busy" or "too focused on having fun" to spend 10 minutes looking up a cookie cutter spec, rotation and what gear choices are best for your class.

You step into my PuGs I expect efficiency and good gameplay. It takes many, many hours to get to 80 and I shouldn't be walking you through what your abilities and talents do after you've had literally days of playing for a class I've never even touched.
Hmmm. When I play games, especially ones with so much choice of gear and class, I play and get gear in a way that suits me. By that I mean that if I like how something looks or I feel that a particular playstyle best suits my personality, that is what I will do, regardless of how effective it is.

on MW2, I saw a guy run behind a wall, I stopped for all of 4 seconds to wait for him to come out the other side, then killed him, and ran off. he branded me a camper for stopping for 4 seconds. idiot.

on the lol side, on cod4 I have been called "that fucking guy with the gunships" after calling in my third of the game (these guys sucked)

similarly on cod5, after my team just finishing a dogs attack, one guy said "thank f**k those dogs are gone!" just as I called in my own second dog wave. many expletives were aimed at me that match. fun times :)

Lately my brother and I have noticed a huge influx in something that sounds rather similar to people's situation with Sabotage. In Gears of war 2 during king of the hill matches, people will treat it instead like it's a really long execution map. And if you go in the ring for more than one point, they ***** you out for ruining their "strategy," INCLUDING people on your own team o_O... Worst part is it seems they find enough numbskulls to go along with this, since most people that do it are in the 80's or higher

I've been yelled at for camping in TF2... as an Engineer. When half the enemy team were spies.

Also, my opponent in a Sniper duel once accused me of hacking, apparently because he was unaware that people can crouch in TF2.

TO tell the truth, it does, at least while im playing Yu Gi Oh, im mkaing money right? i sold 2 cars for 15 bucks, 2 peices of Cardbord, for 15 buck!
While I don't play Yu Gi Oh anymore, I have Kingdom Hearts cards and the sole reason I don't play that is because I don't have anyone to play it with.
I'm 23, still play Yu-Gi-Oh in tournaments, play Naruto CCG in high level tournaments. I also live by myself, have a car, and a job I like. Card Games do not equal immaturity.
Try explaining that to people now and days

Probably someone calling me out on MW2 for using grenade launchers. When I hadn't touched them for the last 3 matches.

And a while back on Halo 3, someone teabagged me throughout a game, and then sent me a message afterwards saying "Recon doesn't make you less noob".

Obviously, I was wearing Recon, and he had beat me fairly, but I had still come second. I highly doubt that if I were wearing any other armour, he would have 'bagged me.

I've got plenty of other moments, but I deserved those ones. :p

Me and my friend got kicked from a xbl Gears of war match were we used the lancer to kill people.... their reasoning was: the lancer sucks (pre patch it did), its prone to lag, thus only the host can use the lancer XD
damn did we prove them wrong...

and being kicked in virtually any Gears of war match because of being to damn good (lets just say me and my splitscreen co-op buddy had some serious synergy going on)
indeed we did good sir XD synergy? if you call saving my ass withouth even having to look where the fuck i am and vice versa, then yes, we had synergy XD

In MW2, this sniper on my team shot me in the head during hardcore search and killed me. Then he blamed me for it because I was in his line of sight, called me a **** muffin ,and rage-quit.

I swear that this was a reason to report on Xbox Live, it was labelled something like "Skill level too high"

(sorry all for not reading 11 pages)

I just have to say, this video was weird as hell.
I am admittedly not a huge fan of FPSs (seems like there's always somebody who can reliably kill you in <1 second upon seeing you), but just the fact that this strategy is viable makes me cry a little bit. I fault the developers for not putting in more realistic sniping mechanics.

I seriously can't believe that this guy is, um, 'quickscoping' at PB range. What's the point of having a sniper rifle at all? Kudos to the OP for playing how it should be played.

As for the OT: getting yelled at in LOL for anything. People will almost inevitably blame the person with the lowest K:D ratio for losing the map. As if you win once your team gets x number of kills or something. (These also tend to be people that play assassin classes and don't do anything but gank people from 6 on, ignoring teamfights completely or showing up just to last hit enemy champs).

Well, in CSS I was always getting someone pissed off because I used to no-scope with a scout. In MW1 people got mad because I shotgun-rushed on crossfire and people got mad at me for actually using a mounted machine gun the way you are supposed to use it: spray like hell near that moving thing over there. Ah well, some people just need to whine once in a while when they get another headshot with a sniper from 1 meter or they get a shotgun op their ***.
..I believe you but.. why were you using a scout? I never cared for that weapon much myself.
Well, the scout can instant kill with a headshot, has really good aim and is quicker than an AWP, and I also like to avoid AWP's at all times because it sucks the fun away and it will bring the biggest wave of whining ever. I also like the pump-action shottie and the m4, and the para ofc.

I think I have already shared this story in another thread, but it was in Grid
We were racing in Euro touring cars, 6 people racing it, most cars wrecked and in the end we were just 2 on the track, me and a kid, which kept shouting at me saying "noob" and how great he was for being in front of me... I just said "yeah yeah". I was actually just behind him, I could have passed him at any point, but I waited until when I was about to finish my last lap to say "you know, I have a lap advantage over you" crossed the finish line, won the race, and he started another rant against me, saying that I was a cheater and so on.

being accused of modding the javelin on MW2 because the other team claimed it can't be used to kill people
Haha! That's crap! It's says on the marksman challange "Kill XX people with this weapon"

Hard scoping, camping, and using a Riot Shield on Search.

Me and my mates had a good time using Thumper that match though.
