1.not enough blood.
2.No bad language.
3.Way to easy
Example: i'm playing dark void on "hardcore" mode and i've only died once because i thought Melee was going to be good.instead i got curb-stomped by Robots. After i got the basics down i had to go up agoinst 2 robots with rocket firing eyes.once again no deaths.

I still play T rated games. In fact, the last game I played was E-10, with it being Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

I don't really know what to say...
I guess I don't really recall any difficulty changes between Teen and any other games.

This is the same for me. There are great rated T games that are fun and challenging. For example Jet Set/Grind Radio is still fun and challenging. Not all games need to have a mountain of foul language or a constant spew of gore.

How does being rated T have anything to do with game difficulty?
That's like saying that ice cream causes drownings.

I doubt that an 18+ or R rating is high on list of game features that people look for. I also doubt that a lot of people play certain games because they really want to hear some animated fictional character swear at other fictional animated characters. I do think that some people play certain games for the bloodbath factor (me being one of them), but those games are few and far between even within the 18+ ratings.

well the real disscuion here is if difficulty levels of rated T games have declined over time.they don't really need foul language or blood&gore but still the random distraction of somethings head exploding can really make a game more difficullt by even a little bit

T games are awesome, dud. I don't know what you're trying to say. Hell, even E-10 games are awesome, as long as they are good RPGs [usually JRPGs].

And I don't want to hear any of you diss E games. You know they're good.

So that's a one opinion by one person, possibly based on one game and with not much to discuss about.

I have never even looked what rating a game has. I usually know what the game is like, is it blood and gore or flowers and ponds. I don't even know what a T-rating means. We use ratings like K-18 here. Simple and self-explanatory.

How does head explosions make games more distracting or difficult? I don't remember encountering a sudden difficulty spike in Fallout 3 when I got the bloody mess perk. Maybe if you played the game specifically for that gore, then I might understand the distraction factor.

Anyway, it's more like the decline of difficulty of all games rather than just ones rated T.

rated E games are good because they're made to be rated E.Rated T games i've been playing seen to be trying to be rated M but at the same time can't seem to get out of Rated T.

so you saying when a head explodes you don't look at it for a quick moment before killing the next 1?

Blood and swearing are fine in the right package, but they don't make or break a good game on their own. In my opinion, the rating has nothing to do with the quality of the game.

My most recent purchases were Ratchet and Clank (E-10), Bayonetta (M) and Assassin's Creed 2 (this one was an M? I figured it would be Teen!)

EDIT: There seem to be very few Teen games on the market these days, probably due to the fact that the parents of younger kids won't buy them and the older games look down on it, like this very topic is hinting at.

There are lots of tough T rated games. Personally, I don't rate a game on its degree of violence or gore. And many T rated games are still popular. Hell, the Zelda games occasionally get rated T. Last time I heard, people still play them.

World of Warcraft is rated T.

No one plays that anymore.
I know. Now it is a barren waste land of wasted servers. So sad
Certainly not one of the highest selling PC games of all time with an expansion which will once again have thousands calling in sick on release date.

Nah, it's rated T. Nothing rated T could ever sell well. Or be hard. Definitely not.
