I was waiting for a chorus about the lack of dedicated server support. Instead she went for some psuedo-existentialist thing. Oh well.

At least she looks cute in camo gear, and the guitar sounds nice. What model of guitar is it, does anyone know?

Wonderfully, really wonderful. I wasn't sure what to make of it, except that it touched me, and made me very sad, but a good sad. Wonderful. Thank you so much.

Naughty, naughty Rebecca. That song was such a sneaky dig at hard-core gamers. May you never change. :D

I like it feels like a metaphor for looking back on a past lover realising that they weren't that great after all and why did you waste your time.

Rebecca Mayes looks at Modern Warfare 2 through night vision goggles.

Watch Video
That was poignant...

...Um...You have a fine behind by the way.

But, yeah - Lovely song.

I am going to get myself banned for this, but you people have a terrible taste in music.

The Lyrics don't rhyme, and don't even sound like they should be placed together, she has a subpar voice, and most of all the song was just a huge "HEY GUYS, LOOK, I'M JUMPING ON A BANDWAGON!".

I really wish I had other things to do instead of purposefully listening to this and then getting myself banned for it.

Also, to all people who will most likely think or say "If you don't like it, don't watch it"

No fucking way?

what bandwagon do you expect her to jump on?
and not all lyrics have to rhyme. that is a terrible point to judge somebody on.
lastly, if you know you're going to get banned why say it? if you don't like it just say, "i don't really like it, it just isn't my style of music"

First of all, Learn to read. I know that lyrics don't have to rhyme. Its not just that. Its the words that sound like they shouldn't be together, also, I love music like this. Death Cab for Cutie is one of my favorite bands, and sounds alot like most of her songs.

It's such a good thing they do not publish her address like they do her email. I would mail myself to her.
And she would return you to the post. God, I hope you're being sarcastic.

Personal taste in music is still relative. So I have respect for your opinion. As long as you construct it decently without insulting anyone (as well as fans as Rebecca herself), I can't see why you would deserve a ban.

You're joking, right? I can imagine she wouldn't find it acceptable at all. My personal cell phone number once accidentally got posted online and I'm pretty well-known in the Belgian gaming community. You can imagine the phone calls I received from people I never even met: "How are you? I always wanted to meet you! I'm a big fan of your video reviews and articles! Can we go to the pub together, sometime?"

I felt really honored by the support and attention, but at the same time I wasn't feeling too comfortable. There's still a line between the internet and your own personal life aside from any professional occupations that has to be respected. So I can expect Rebecca to be kind of spooked and uncomfortable if anyone would pull such a trick on her. I know I would be.

Well, maybe I shouldn't be too surprised to read these kind of messages. After all, it's the internet for a reason. Total anonimity.

Its because I've done this like, 4 other times on different Mays Muses threads.

I also planned on being very rude. It was personal problems, and I was angry. But I'm over it.

I saw the title of the latest song and I knew this was going to be legend.

I was right. Just one voice, one guitar, and one song that could easily be detached from the game in question without the tiniest dip in quality or relevance.
He couldn't have said it any better...which is why i cannot understand how this song is supposed to be good

Honestly, I feel jipped. When I see a video about Modern Warfare 2, I expect it to actually be about Modern Warfare 2. Instead, we got this absolute cop-out of a song! Seriously, what the heck WAS that? Did she have a motive? An opinion? A reason for writing the song even though she's getting paid? All we got was a string of "rhetorical" questions which really didn't feel at all rhetorical. I just wanted to be like "Yes, it was everything i thought it would be. Yes, that submarine part was cool. Yes, i do like adventures. Yeah, we prolly will be talking about this game for a while. So, uhhh.....your point?".
