This song would work great in a self-aware romantic comedy parody. You know, during the scene where the girl is moping around about 3/4 into the movie just before someone tells her to "win him back" or she realizes that it's *this* guy who is her true love after all or whatever.
I have to say, I think ms. Mayes is one of the most talanted "non-famous" singers I know (and I actually know a few) And you really deserve a record deal : )

I visited her blog, she has a video named The infurous case of Mr Kyle Hyde, or somehitng like that, is that a game or a person? if he's a person then im jealous xD. She appears more in that video than in any other, from begining to end (4 min), and she looks even more adorable and fun <3

I'm not really into this style of music (more of a stoner/metal-head kinda guy) but something brings me back here every week...

After the first one, I lost interest in this program. Glad to see I was wrong and that you're still making good music. Mellow and uses the instruments well. My kind of music, which probably helps, but the quality shines through here. I like that you mix up the stuffy, boring old routine of line, line, refrain, refrain, line, line, refrain etc. You change it up, and that's the measure of a good musician in my book.
Does anyone else think the opening to that game, regardless of whether the rest of it is good, seems kind of pretentious and show-offish? "WARNING! This game will read your mind and the game will play you as much as you play it. Woooo! I'm scary!"

Yeah it might have some of that but not a lot really, the only parts where she's standing doing nothing related to the game, for what i can see are the parts where she standing/dancing by the mic and playing guitar on the bed and in the attic. I liked those parts anyway.piscian said:
