Now, today, without us knowing there is a secret war going on. The war has being going on since before anyone remembers, since before records began. It is a war between Humanity and 'other' beings. The other beings are mix of things that legend, lore, religion and other things have told about. Angels, Demons, Mages, Dragons, they all exist in secret. The war died down in the last centuries, with most Magical creatures deciding that it would be best to not continue fighting in an endless war some even siding with the Humans. Little humans know of this wars existence, governments hide it best they can to avoid panic and creatures hide it to avoid mobs of humans.

Instead of Governments fighting in this war now however, there is a single Private Military Company known as the Hunters of Legend that were created ten years ago that now handles is. The Hunters were created and are owned and run by the secretive 'Dungeon Master', who only shows himself to members of the Hunters, he is the inventor of all their technology which is above that which is normal for this time.

Time has come for the Hunters to recruit new members to fight against the other beings, these recruits come from all around the world with all sorts of skills chosen specifically by the Dungeon Master. They will witness things most others only dream of, fight things others would run in terror from and learn what others would call Fairy Tails and lies...

The recruits are sent to the Hunter's Mobile Floating Airbase which currently flies high above North America to meet their new employer and the rest of the Hunters. They do not currently know of the other beings and do not know what to expect, not even knowing of the Hunter's existence before their briefing by their respective Governments and not told what they do, only to expect the unexpected.

This is an idea I have been thinking of doing for a while now, since the middle of last year, and much thought has gone into the story. How it will work is that the Player Characters are sent on missions to combat the other beings and will socialize during their down time on the Airbase with each other and the several NPCs that are stationed there. They will meet several characters on their missions and on the Base, some re-occuring, others not. At first it will seem that it is just a mission to mission RP but eventually a plot will begin to show itself as the RP progresses.

Gender: Male

Appearance: A tall man with a somewhat muscular body. He has grey hai, blue eyes and always wears his glasses. He wears a white coat, a blue top, black trousers and black shoes. He always seems to be carrying a medical pack on his back and several syringes around his stomach.

Specialization: Medicine

Personality: Always joking, Dr Emmanuel always tries to look on the bright side of things no matter what. It takes allot to get him mad and he is a very forgiving person.

Bio: Born in France, Dr Emmanuel grew up with his parents who were both excellent Doctors. He learned everything from them and went on to become the the leading mind on Medical science. This gained the attraction of The Dungeon Master ten years ago and he was recruited at the peak of his career. Since then he has continued to work in the Hunters, providing a much needed joking atmosphere.

Personality: Always calm and serious, Yuri takes her job very seriously. She goes beyond the call to read about magical beings of all types every night and most of the day. She isn't very good with people and prefers the company of books.

Bio: Born in Japan, Yuri grew up in a library owned by her parents. She spent her child and teenage days and nights reading as much as she could. She grew an extensive knowledge of pretty much everything, especially fantasy lore. When she was 20 she wrote a book about the lore of all the fantasy creatures and attracted the attention of the Dungeon Master who quickly recruited her. Before there wasn't anyone to keep knowledge of the other beings and since she joined the Hunters they have improved vastly.

Specialization: Vehicles

Personality: A bit of a nerd, Bob often says references to videogames, anime and the such. He even chose the same Code Name and clothes as his favorite Team Fortress 2 class. He loves working with vehicles and often makes his own little gadgets when bored.

Bio: Born in America, Bob lived with his single father. When he was younger he used to often go into the local Scrap Yard and steal stuff to create things. He was very good at it and created all sorts of things. When he was 15 he managed to create a simple Vehicle and discovered his love for them. When he reached 18 he worked at a garage and learned the ropes about vehicle maintenance. The Dungeon Master recruited him when he was 22, hearing about his legendary talent and he joined. He looks after the Base and its various Vehicles for the Dungeon Master happy with his job.

Appearance: Jill is about average sized with aa frail body. She has long brown hair and green eyes. She wears a black short-sleeved top and blue jeans with decorative holes in. She always has a lollipop on her. She carries a small brown book in her back pocket.

Specialization: Magic

Personality: Jill acts somewhat younger then her actual age, like a pre-teen almost. She seems to be a bit innocent for someone of her profession and age, often oblivious to certain things.

Bio: Born in Wales, Jill lived with her, also excellent Mages, parents. They taught her the skills required to be a good Mage and she excelled. Three years ago, The Dungeon Master decided he needed a Mage in the Hunters and he heard that Jill's parents, who had helped him in the past, had a child he assumed she would also be a good Mage. She was recruited and helped on most missions greatly.

Personality: A calm man, it seems to be hard to annoy him. He seems to enjoy a good fight, especially if its on equal terms.

Bio: A mysterious Werewolf who serve an even more mysterious Vampire who he refers to as Mistress, he seems to be on the Hunter's side but this is likely because his Mistress also does. He also seems to be familiar with the Hunters.

Appearance: Soul has long black hair, that falls down to his shoulders, and dark red eyes that have always made him unique. He normally wears bright white clothing, and has a rather pale face. He carries with him a longsword that hangs at his side at all times. With each kill the sword makes, it grows darker in color. Around his middle finger on his right hand Soul wears an onyx ring.



Specialization: Soul specializes in melee combat, he is so skilled in this field that even bullets have a difficult time reaching him.

Personality: Soul is very quiet, even when around his allies. He has a hard time trusting anyone with anything, especially his own life, which is why Soul has always traveled alone. In combat, Soul is calm and precise, landing each blow exactly were he means to, and rarely ever missing a strike. Soul does a job down to the very last detail, regardless of how many lives must be lost.

Bio: Eric was born in London to American parents, and had a normal childhood up until his sixteenth birthday. On his sixteenth birthday, Eric went out with a few friends to the local canal, trying to waste daylight until his actual party began. Eric was walking along the bridge rail, when his friend decided it would be funny to give him a little push. Eric, not expecting it, fell down into the canal, and was lost in the waters below. While under the water's surface, Eric found a rather odd ring, the makes of nothing he had ever seen before, so he grabbed it and took it for his own.

Eric's friends fished him out of the canal a couple hundred of feet away from were he had fallen in, but Eric didn't seem mad at all, in fact he seemed devoid of any emotion at all. Eric's friends walked him home so he could get changed, but nobody knew that the party was already started at his house. Everyone went in expecting a good time, but nobody came out. In a blind fit of rage, Eric killed everyone, thirty-five people were dead because of him. When Eric came to, he looked down at his hands and saw the blood of his friends and family staining them, and that was the day he threw away his real name and became known as Soul Reaper or Soul for short. Soul fled, hiding away in a local museum for the first night of his escape, which is were he happened upon another rare artifact, a blade made of a jet-black material. Soul stole the blade, and ran, not stopping until he found himself in America. The kills he had amassed since his birthday had risen to over three hundred, in the two years he had been on the run. He seemed more in control of his own actions after those two years, but he was forever cursed for the crimes and sins he had committed.

Soul was finally hunted down by government agents, two of which he slaughtered immediately, leaving only one to question. Soul was given a proposal, aiding the American government and being given a pardon for the crimes he had committed, in return however, Soul would help the government in a secret mission that the general populace had no idea even existed. Soul agreed, and arrived on the Hunter's airship a few weeks later.

Real Name: Alexis Kerr

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance: Stands at 5?4?, with shoulder-length auburn hair and deep blue eyes. Her clothing consists almost entirely of various pairs of combat trousers in varying shades, along with matching long-sleeved tops. She always wears the same pair of heavy duty hiking boots, slate grey in colour. The only piece of jewellery she owns is a small circular silver pendant, depicting a crescent moon and a star. Her weapon of choice is an AS50 Sniper Rifle, which she acquired upon joining the Hunters.

Specialization: Ranged Support

Personality: Being somewhat of a dreamer, Alexis tends to spend most of her down time in her own world. Fond of walking and the countryside, she can often be found taking long hikes. However, despite this she is not an unsociable person. She is friendly, and a good listener, although not particularly talkative herself. She doesn?t take too well to people with a loud or abrasive personality however. Despite her dreamy attitude, when on a mission she gives that her full, undivided attention, making her a reliable support member to a team, able to keep a close eye on an area on the ground, as well as locate and eliminate high priority targets.

Bio: Born to a farming family in rural northern England, Alexis always loved being outdoors, to the extent that she hated going to school, as it kept her stuck indoors. Added into this the fact that she never seemed to take an interest in anything she was asked to do, her schoolwork suffered terribly. Her parents attempted a number of ideas to get her take more of an interest in her schoolwork, but nothing seemed to work. However, one day she followed her father and her two brothers as he took them out with a rifle, in order to teach them to shoot. She listened and watched intently as he instructed them, until eventually asking for a go herself. Her father initially shrugged off her suggestion, telling her it wasn?t something that girls should be doing, but when she kept insisting he relented. Despite being younger than her brothers she picked up the idea far faster, impressing her brothers and her father with her latent skill. Seeing the opportunity, her father used her interest as leverage, promising to continue teaching her if she started putting effort into her studies. Initially resentful of this, she eventually accepted the proposal, her grades improving drastically as she started to focus more at school. As she grew older, her skills marksman skills improved, until she surpassed her father. She entered a number of competitions, doing extremely well in all, and started learning how to track large game such as deer. By the time she left school, she had set her heart on becoming a gamekeeper, and started a course in this direction at a local college.

As she studied, her parents ran into some trouble with the farm. Livestock in the area were being either disappearing, or being found mangled the next morning, and it was worrying the local community. While most believed it to be a pack of strays, the killings were too frequent, and a few witnesses claimed to catch a glimpse of a wolf-like creature, larger than any dog. While most people didn?t believe these stories, Alexis set out to learn the truth. Setting herself up to have a clear view over one of her father?s fields, she spent three nights in a row watching over the animals. On the fourth night, with a clear sky and large moon, she caught sight of the creature for herself as it attacked the livestock. Unbeknown to her at the time, the creature was a Fenrir. It killed a good portion of the animals, before taking off with one of the larger carcasses in its jaws. Alexis followed, succeeding in tracking the creature back to its lair, where she found a pack of the creatures. She fled, but not before being spotted by the mother, the one she had followed. The Fenrir gave chase, catching her by the leg and dragging her down. She kicked the creature away, then as it jumped at her again, shot it through the roof of its mouth, killing it outright. Staggering to her feet, she limped back him on her damaged leg. Upon reaching the farmhouse, she heard howls from behind her. Realising that they rest of the pack, presumably led by the father, would be able to follow her trail, she took what ammunition she could find and retreated to the nearby hayloft, where she held out against the pack until dawn, when the remnants turned tail and fled. Dragging herself back to the yard, she saw with horror that the creatures had broken into the house, killing the rest of her family. Unable to comprehend the night she had had, and with no other option, she phoned the emergency services. They took her to a hospital because of her leg, and she told them what she had seen. The police eventually put it down to an escaped pack of wolves, although Alexis was never entirely satisfied with this explanation. Shortly before she was due to be discharged, a man in a suit visited her. He mentioned that he had been impressed with her survival skills that night, and offered her a job, in his words, ?an opportunity to hunt down and eradicate more dangerous beasts?. With little other options, and sensing there was more to her own story, she reluctantly agreed.

Real Name: Andrew Rodriguez

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Andrew stands about 6' tall even. His build is a touch thin but overall average. His eyes are a dull blue in color. His skin tone and facial angels tend to betray his mixed Mexican background. While he often changes his cloths based on his location or job he tends to prefer dark lose clothing and often wears a hat of some kind.

Specialization: Investigation (though he tends to be more of a generalist then a specialist)

Personality: Andrew is friendly enough to people he likes though he tends to lace his speech with sarcasm and snarking. Andrew can be quick to act in a pinch but he tends to be incredibly thorough and methodical when the situation allows for it. Andrew is also extraordinarily curious, particularly about stories and legends. Andrew may be lazy at times, but he is homicidaly loyal to his family and those few that he considers friends.

Bio: Born and raised in Huston Texas, even from a young age Andrew was attentive, alert, and a lover of stories. However he had trouble in school, while he took instruction well he was totally disinterested in what was being taught. By the age of 16 he had dropped out of his high school.

Rather then do nothing though he instead began to work in his uncle's private investigation and collection agency. Andrew's uncle was a bit of a generalist and in addition to normal investigation he was often hired by scientists to retrieve samples and data from exotic, wild, and sometimes dangerous locations. Going with his uncle, Andrew learned a wide variety of skills as well as a functional command of several common languages. Also, as he traveled Andrew sucked up any knowledge he could of local legends and stories.

Andrew's first, but far from last, encounter with something he couldn't rationally explain was when his cousin became involved with some kind of dark cult. Fortunately Andrew was able to find the secretive cult and stop their sacrificial ritual while the high priest was accidental killed. However, Andrew's cousin was crippled and wheelchair bound, she then gave him the pentagonal charm that he still wears.

By the age of 21 Andrew was being sent on assignments on his own and had spent time on 5 different continents. While not common he still had encounters with things he would describe as 'not normal', the most blatant being when he was forced to personally lead an exorcism in Angola.

As Andrew continued his work he never lost his interest in stories and legends, continuing to collect them from all over the world. Things turned very strange though when Andrew read a book on mystical creatures written by a person named Yuri Kusabana. Intrigued by the book he decided to look into the author but was confounded by the almost total lack of information on her, and the more he dug the weirder and harder to follow the trail became.

Andrew began a personal investigation, using every trick he knew and taking almost two months before finally coming up with what seemed to be the strangest set of answers he had ever found. He was almost not surprised when a pair of unidentifiable agents confronted him and took him prisoner for "sticking [his] nose where it doesn't belong. Bad luck kid." Andrew's fate was looking grim until The Dungeon Master took an interest in the 'curiosity' and had him brought to the airbase.

Equipment: Andrew often acquires things based on his job at the time, but some things generally remain constant. Andrew may not encourage violence but he usually carries a snubnosed revolver somewhere if he's expecting trouble as his preferred weapon of defense. He also wears the pendent given to him by his cousin around his neck on a leather string, it's a bronze pentagonal in a circle and she had told him that it would protect him. He also often carries a wood walking stick carved with strange markings he received after helping some people in Africa.

Though Andrew is totally unaware of it, both the pentagonal and the staff are actually items of minor magical power. He keeps them with him more because "[he] feels better when he has them."

Real Name: Edgar Holmes

Age: 32

Gender: Male

Appearance: Edgar stands at a solid 6? 2?, His short, black hair is slicked back and kept immaculate. His eyes are a piercing light blue. His skin is slightly tanned and rough, especially on his hands. He is fit but not toned. He typically wears a black and grey leather jacket with Kevlar plates inserted into the material for protection and black jeans. He wears a typical set of army boots. He also wears a pair of protective gloves.



Specialization: Explosives. Whether it is planting bombs or using explosive weapons Edgar will get the job done. He particularly enjoys using an MGL and C4.

Personality: Never the brightest bolt in the box, Edgar is fairly blunt when he talks. He says what he means and means what he says. He is polite to others but is a reclusive person. If he can be encouraged to talk he can talk at great length though. He has quite an addictive personality, smoking whenever he gets the chance to. During a mission he expects everyone to work quickly and efficiently and will berate anyone who isn?t. He is extremely, almost frighteningly, calm under fire.

Bio: Born in Oslo in Norway, Edgar was taught the values of hard work and having a bigger rock than the other guy. His mother having died in child birth, Edgar always held a sense of guilt and wanted to make his father proud to make up for, as he saw it, killing his mother. His father was a First Lieutenant in the Royal Norwegian Army and Edgar aspired from a young age to follow in his footsteps. He did fairly well at school, never below or above expectations, his young dream of military service left him with little interest in the academic world. After graduation from High School Edgar went through several part time jobs until he was old enough for enlistment. He signed up on his 17th birthday with his father?s blessing.
Over the next 10 years Edgar served in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, reaching the rank of Captain before leaving the service. He received the War Cross with 3 swords, the second person in Norway?s history, in 2005. He was decorated after singlehandedly preventing the massacre of three American platoons. He left after becoming disillusioned with the war effort in Afghanistan, seeing it an unjust war. After returning home Edgar joined a security firm, working there until a few weeks ago. He was contacted by a stranger, stating that his combat effectiveness and tactical awareness had brought him to the attention of his employers. He offered Edgar a place on an elite unit. An offer Edgar eagerly accepted.

Real Name: Keith Vanson

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Appearance: five foot seven inches tall with short dark brown hair. He is fair skinned and skinny but not sickly looking. He has light blue eyes and he wears goggles and a lab coat. He wears rubber boots for footwear.



Specialization: Chemistry.

Personality: Keith is a very condescending person who thinks of many people as inferior to him because they lack his intelligence. He has a bit of a stammer whenever he tries to explain something which he does a lot in an attempt to feel superior.

Bio: Keith was born in Lexington Virginia. His parents were high ranking members of multibillion dollar company who were never there for him. They only came home a couple times in a year. He had to be very independent. On lonely nights at home he attempted to teach himself new skills because he was bitter against his parents and he wanted to grow up to be superior to them. Since Keith didn?t really know anyone besides his parents and his teacher (His parents despised public school and didn?t think much better of private school) he grew to distrust people in general because he felt like everyone would abandon him like his parents did. He began studying toxic materials and became obsessed with them. He was mentally unstable and wanted to make people pay. His teacher worked with him teaching him about chemicals and such. He focused on it because he saw that Keith had a great interest in it. He became more and more proficient at making various non toxic chemicals and he had a great knowledge off all other kinds. Once he had the ability to make something with enough power to kill a lot of people he didn?t.

He chose not to because his teacher had become a father figure to him. By working with his teacher he saw that there was good is people, but he still was a bit mistrusting and still carried a superiority complex with him. He later went on to go to a prestigious college where he honed his skills. Keith still had an interest in chemicals, but now he wanted to use it to take out the evil in the world instead of wanted to kill innocent people. He later went on to work with a non "official" part of the United States government that assassinated and or tortured people or groups of people who planned to do damage to the U.S such as terrorists. Keith created a chemical that makes the body feel as if it was set on fire, but it did absolutely no damage to the body whatsoever. He was paid a large amount of money for making the chemical and he was paid quite well for using it on terrorists. He also learned to create a LARGE variety of toxins that were then used to eliminate terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq. He became the best in his field and the Hunters of Legend noticed. They offered him a job and he took it because he wanted to do anything for the betterment of man kind.

Real Name: Ben Schwartz

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Appearance: Nothing spectacular physically. Ben is a country woodsman, white and about six feet tall. His body is well built, not muscle bound but sturdy. His dress is generally geared towards forest camoflage, wearing heavier pants and long sleeve shirts in dark browns and greens with a tactical vest filled with everything he needs to survive out in the forest, as well as two pockets that hold cases of shells. With him at all times he carries with him a metal case, flat painted to match his attire.

Specialization: A survivalist and a marksman, one of if not the best in his area. While having no formal training, a lifetime of experience has taught him how to survive in just about any enviroment. His skill with a rifle is also superb, generally geared towards hunting. However, his prowess is sufficient to let him hunt flying game at tremendous distances.

Personality: Quite down to earth, and not just in the way he lives. Ben is humble and practical, and tends not to act before thinking. Being a hunter, he thinks like a hunter, prefering to learn about any situation before acting, but still retaining the ability to think on his feet when the situation calls for it.

Bio: A superbly unspectacular history. Ben was born to a country family that lived largely alone out in the forest. He learned at a young age how to hunt, fish, and live off the land. After his parents passed away, he remained in his parents house and lived much as his father had, although making a reputation for himself as a hunter by bringin many of his kills to the local town, selling the meat and fur that exceeded his needs. In the years of his hunting and trading his reputation continued to grow, and as it grew he became a living legend. It was said that Ben's skill with a rifle was such that he could hit a pidgeon standing on top of a mountain from the top of another mountain without ruffling a single feather.

OK, I'm showing interest this time. Just a couple of things though:

I have practically zero experience with written RP's like this. That won't be too much of a problem will it? I mean, i don't want to ruin something for everyone else.

Also, What sort of technology are we looking it? To clarify, I assume nothing beyond modern day technology, but for personal weapons, is there any sort of rule, or can we go with anything ranging from bows to sniper rifles (as an example)?

Also, What sort of technology are we looking it? To clarify, I assume nothing beyond modern day technology, but for personal weapons, is there any sort of rule, or can we go with anything ranging from bows to sniper rifles (as an example)?
Your characters will start with nothing more then standard modern tech but I'll allow a bit of leverage on this however if its justified, but it'd have to been made by the character and be at least something to do with the thing they're specialized at (Example: A personalized pistol for a Small Arms specialist).

Eventually the characters will get the chance to get better tech, provided by NPCs of course. Any specialized equipment needed for certain missions (Example: Silver bullets for Werewolves) would be provided for the mission

Gender: Female

Appearance: Stands at 5?4?, with shoulder-length auburn hair and deep blue eyes. Her clothing consists almost entirely of various pairs of combat trousers in varying shades, along with matching long-sleeved tops. She always wears the same pair of heavy duty hiking boots, slate grey in colour. The only piece of jewellery she owns is a small circular silver pendant, depicting a crescent moon and a star. Her weapon of choice is an AS50 Sniper Rifle, which she acquired upon joining the Hunters.

Specialization: Ranged Support

Personality: Being somewhat of a dreamer, Alexis tends to spend most of her down time in her own world. Fond of walking and the countryside, she can often be found taking long hikes. However, despite this she is not an unsociable person. She is friendly, and a good listener, although not particularly talkative herself. She doesn?t take too well to people with a loud or abrasive personality however. Despite her dreamy attitude, when on a mission she gives that her full, undivided attention, making her a reliable support member to a team, able to keep a close eye on an area on the ground, as well as locate and eliminate high priority targets.

Bio: Born to a farming family in rural northern England, Alexis always loved being outdoors, to the extent that she hated going to school, as it kept her stuck indoors. Added into this the fact that she never seemed to take an interest in anything she was asked to do, her schoolwork suffered terribly. Her parents attempted a number of ideas to get her take more of an interest in her schoolwork, but nothing seemed to work. However, one day she followed her father and her two brothers as he took them out with a rifle, in order to teach them to shoot. She listened and watched intently as he instructed them, until eventually asking for a go herself. Her father initially shrugged off her suggestion, telling her it wasn?t something that girls should be doing, but when she kept insisting he relented. Despite being younger than her brothers she picked up the idea far faster, impressing her brothers and her father with her latent skill. Seeing the opportunity, her father used her interest as leverage, promising to continue teaching her if she started putting effort into her studies. Initially resentful of this, she eventually accepted the proposal, her grades improving drastically as she started to focus more at school. As she grew older, her skills marksman skills improved, until she surpassed her father. She entered a number of competitions, doing extremely well in all, and started learning how to track large game such as deer. By the time she left school, she had set her heart on becoming a gamekeeper, and started a course in this direction at a local college.

As she studied, her parents ran into some trouble with the farm. Livestock in the area were being either disappearing, or being found mangled the next morning, and it was worrying the local community. While most believed it to be a pack of strays, the killings were too frequent, and a few witnesses claimed to catch a glimpse of a wolf-like creature, larger than any dog. While most people didn?t believe these stories, Alexis set out to learn the truth. Setting herself up to have a clear view over one of her father?s fields, she spent three nights in a row watching over the animals. On the fourth night, with a clear sky and large moon, she caught sight of the creature for herself as it attacked the livestock. Unbeknown to her at the time, the creature was a Fenrir. It killed a good portion of the animals, before taking off with one of the larger carcasses in its jaws. Alexis followed, succeeding in tracking the creature back to its lair, where she found a pack of the creatures. She fled, but not before being spotted by the mother, the one she had followed. The Fenrir gave chase, catching her by the leg and dragging her down. She kicked the creature away, then as it jumped at her again, shot it through the roof of its mouth, killing it outright. Staggering to her feet, she limped back him on her damaged leg. Upon reaching the farmhouse, she heard howls from behind her. Realising that they rest of the pack, presumably led by the father, would be able to follow her trail, she took what ammunition she could find and retreated to the nearby hayloft, where she held out against the pack until dawn, when the remnants turned tail and fled. Dragging herself back to the yard, she saw with horror that the creatures had broken into the house, killing the rest of her family. Unable to comprehend the night she had had, and with no other option, she phoned the emergency services. They took her to a hospital because of her leg, and she told them what she had seen. The police eventually put it down to an escaped pack of wolves, although Alexis was never entirely satisfied with this explanation. Shortly before she was due to be discharged, a man in a suit visited her. He mentioned that he had been impressed with her survival skills that night, and offered her a job, in his words, ?an opportunity to hunt down and eradicate more dangerous beasts?. With little other options, and sensing there was more to her own story, she reluctantly agreed.

Real Name: Ezekiel Reeve

Gender Male

Appearance: Ezekiel is lanky and looks loosely put together like his joints might decide to just drop off one day. He's quite tall at 6'2, but is quite obviously not a soldier, looking more like a somewhat aging geek with thick glasses and brown, somewhat graying hair.

Specialization: Diplomacy

Personality Ezekiel is a friendly fellow, filled with curiosity about the nonhuman races. He is a bit obsessive regarding his work, often spending days at a time with no human contact studying a tablet of Demonic writings or the rare supernatural artwork. In a fight, he's not quite a liability, knowing that the best thing for him to do is find cover and keep his head down until the shooting stops. While he knows -how- to handle a gun, he's by no means good at it.

Bio: Ezekiel was born in Ottawa, Canada, and for much of his life was interested in the ancient world. Prior to his recruitment, Ezekiel was studying archaeology, showing remarkable talent learning numerous ancient languages - Latin and Sumerian in particular. Two years ago, he came across a tablet written in a bizarre Sumerian dialect. Despite no one else having any real luck translating it, Ezekiel was able to make some degree of progress after over a year of study - the tablet was related to Demons attacking the city of Uruk some five thousand years ago.

Soon after publishing the results to some skepticism, he was approached and accepted the offer from the organization eagerly, with only the hint of there being so much more than just the lone tablet.

How's that?

You might want to include a weapon your character uses, because even though diplomacy is possible in every mission there will be at least one fight. It might be a bad idea for your character to just hide during the inevitable fights. Don't make it another specialization though, just because a character isn't specialized in something doesn't mean they can't do it. It just means they're not as good at it then the person who is.

Curse you for already taking the first two specializations I was planning on (knowledge then magic). Well, here goes anyways.

Code Name: The Jack

Real Name: Andrew Rodriguez

Appearance:

Andrew stands about 6' tall even. His build is a touch thin but overall average. His eyes are a dull blue in color. His skin tone and facial angels tend to betray his mixed Mexican background. While he often changes his cloths based on his location or job he tends to prefer dark lose clothing and often wears a hat of some kind.

Specialization: Investigation (though he tends to be more of a generalist then a specialist)

Personality: Andrew is friendly enough to people he likes though he tends to lace his speech with sarcasm and snarking. Andrew can be quick to act in a pinch but he tends to be incredibly thorough and methodical when the situation allows for it. Andrew is also extraordinarily curious, particularly about stories and legends. Andrew may be lazy at times, but he is homicidaly loyal to his family and those few that he considers friends.

Bio: Born and raised in Huston Texas, even from a young age Andrew was attentive, alert, and a lover of stories. However he had trouble in school, while he took instruction well he was totally disinterested in what was being taught. By the age of 16 he had dropped out of his high school.

Rather then do nothing though he instead began to work in his uncle's private investigation and collection agency. Andrew's uncle was a bit of a generalist and in addition to normal investigation he was often hired by scientists to retrieve samples and data from exotic, wild, and sometimes dangerous locations. Going with his uncle, Andrew learned a wide variety of skills as well as a functional command of several common languages. Also, as he traveled Andrew sucked up any knowledge he could of local legends and stories.

Andrew's first, but far from last, encounter with something he couldn't rationally explain was when his cousin became involved with some kind of dark cult. Fortunately Andrew was able to find the secretive cult and stop their sacrificial ritual while the high priest was accidental killed. However, Andrew's cousin was crippled and wheelchair bound, she then gave him the pentagonal charm that he still wears.

By the age of 21 Andrew was being sent on assignments on his own and had spent time on 5 different continents. While not common he still had encounters with things he would describe as 'not normal', the most blatant being when he was forced to personally lead an exorcism in Angola.

As Andrew continued his work he never lost his interest in stories and legends, continuing to collect them from all over the world. Things turned very strange though when Andrew read a book on mystical creatures written by a person named Yuri Kusabana. Intrigued by the book he decided to look into the author but was confounded by the almost total lack of information on her, and the more he dug the weirder and harder to follow the trail became.

Andrew began a personal investigation, using every trick he knew and taking almost two months before finally coming up with what seemed to be the strangest set of answers he had ever found. He was almost not surprised when a pair of unidentifiable agents confronted him and took him prisoner for "sticking [his] nose where it doesn't belong. Bad luck kid." Andrew's fate was looking grim until The Dungeon Master took an interest in the 'curiosity' and had him brought to the airbase.

Equipment: Andrew often acquires things based on his job at the time, but some things generally remain constant. Andrew may not encourage violence but he usually carries a snubnosed revolver somewhere if he's expecting trouble as his preferred weapon of defense. He also wears the pendent given to him by his cousin around his neck on a leather string, it's a bronze pentagonal in a circle and she had told him that it would protect him. He also often carries a wood walking stick carved with strange markings he received after helping some people in Africa.

Though Andrew is totally unaware of it, both the pentagonal and the staff are actually items of minor magical power. He keeps them with him more because "[he] feels better when he has them."

There, how's that?

I'm writing a chracter sheet. May or may not finish it depending on how it goes, but this RP seems pretty cool so I'll probably finish it sometime today.

Code Name: Dual Lightning

Real Name: Thor Hail

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Appearance: He has shoulder long, red hair and green eyes. Always keeps his face shaved due to how he thinks he looks when his face is shaved. Stands at about 6 feet. He wears black jeans, a long black jacket, a dark red t-shirt and some nice sneakers to go along with his attire. He's somewhat muscular, due to training with his swords, Chaos and Amber. He also wears a necklace with a little hammer on it around his neck.

Specialization: Swordfighting. He wields a sword like almost no other. He is quite adequate with one, though he prefers his own ones to a random one he would find.

Personality: He can be serious at times, and is quite the joker, or rather, he can become very light hearted and fun to be around. However, he can go completely mad in the blink of an eye if he so chooses and disregards his own safety and the safety of others. When not being mad, he is a nice person to be around, unless he gets serious. Then it can be a pain to be around him sometimes.

Bio: Thor is originally from Iceland. He grew up in a caring family, and was an only child. The Hails were known a little in their town for being specialized in swordfighting, and when Thor became 16, he too was trained in swordfighting to hold up his family's tradition. It took time, but he became quite skilled in fighting with a sword, in about a year or two after he started training. He'd watched his father train and was able to pick up what he had seen. His father used the sword Chaos for battle, preferring the mad looking sword because it suited him. When his father thought he was ready enough, at the age of 19, he handed Thor his own sword, along with another of their family swords, Amber, a beautiful golden sword which wasn't just pretty, but also quite sturdy, sharp and effective. While his father preferred Chaos, he knew his son would make better use of it.

Thor had a fair bit of friends. The town was moderately big, but the children weren't many. They were all quite close and loved hanging out, and once Thor started his sword training, they used to just sit and watch him practice cheering him on until his mother asked them to quiet down a bit to not disturb them or his father shot a glance at them, which usually shut them down. At the age of 18, one of his friends, Linda, confessed her feelings for him and they dated for a while. Everyone was happy for them and things were good. A year later, they moved in together into an apartment in the town and two years after that, they got married and lived happily enough.

But despite all of this nice upbringing that Thor received, he had a sort of...illness, I think you could call it. A second personality that he was aware of, but had never done much about it. This personality of his causes him to go mad. It loves to torture, slowly and very painfully, seeing the faces of the people he tortures brings him great joy. The only reason why he never did anything about this personality of his, Loki he called it, was because it benefited him on the battlefield and never harmed his family, friends or loved ones.

The reason he has been chosen by the Dungeon Master is his skill with a sword, along with his other personality, Loki. He believes it will serve well in the tasks ahead.
