I also vote Morrowind, much better the Oblivion, IMO.

There's always the "Nehrim" overhaul for Oblivion.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. you CANNOT miss this game. its just awesome. (even though its a littly buggy sometimes)

Agreed. I have some good memories from playing this game modded.

I also recommend Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, as the mods add a shitload of replayability to the campaign and make everything awesome.
