My semester in college is ending, and im gonna have lots of free time, so i would like to play a game when am at home. What good RPGs can you reccomend me? Its better if i con play it my pc on a emulator (SNES/N64/PSX/Gameboyyounameit) cuz my hardware aint that good. Ive already beat old school games like Secret of Mana, Terranigma, Chrono trigger, Final Fantasy 2 thru 6, Earthbound and pretty much every zelda game out there. Im looking forward to games like those, especially of they dont require lots of grinding.

Sorry for me broken English and thanks in advance

A great RPG that doesn't require a good computer to play is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It's old, but really good.

Grandia, Legend of Mana, SaGa Frontier 2, Wild ARMs 1 + 2

The best RPGs on the PS1, imo.

Especially Grandia. I never heard a bad word against it.

It's for the PC, and it's fairly old[footnote]2004[/footnote], but not from the SNES era.

It's called Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines, and it breathes awesome. Seriously, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Absolutely no grinding and an obscene amount of diversity each playthrough.[footnote]Not to mention, it has some of the sharpest writing ever seen in video games. I'm not joking.[/footnote]

It's fairly manageable as well, so just about any PC can run it.

Morrowind is a must. Though I've never played it, Arcanum looks very good. The old fallout games would run on your system.

Older PC related titles I would suggest Gothic 1 or 2. Has the look of 2000 graphics, so Im figuring if you can EMU a psx, you should be able to handle it.

Perhaps Diablo 2?

Perhaps TES: morrowind. for high end graphics. Wasnt a big fan of it myself, but i know alot of people like it alot.

If you can EMU PSX, I fully suggest Xenogears. I mean its fans revere it as if it were the bible.. its gotta be at least decent, no? Also, More of an action RPG I fully suggest Vagrant story and Saga Frontier 2. (none of the rest of the SaGa titles are worth it really)

Dragon warrior and breath of fire series have some good titles. Same is true for golden sun.

While it isnt exactly a RPG, Fire emblem has enough of an RPG vibe to sate most desires, and its a fairly enjoyable exp.

Theres a LOT of great RPGs to go through.

Yahtzee didn't seem to like it, but one of my personal favorites is Torchlight.

Think Diablo, only beautiful and much, much lighter.

Thanks for your suggestions. Ive already played pokemon, super mario RPG, variuos breath of fire, golden sun and Fallout. Ill check out Oblivion/ Morrowind and some others ( Vampire: Msquerade sounds interesting). Has anyone here played Mother 3? Is it any good? I loved Earthbound, and a GBA game would be the easiest to find.

I'm afraid I can't be of much help, but I can point you in the direction of some Taliban members who could aid you...

EDIT: must add "lol" to confirm sarcasm so the government won't hunt me down
