I have two sandwiches.

1st is: Bread, Black Forest ham, mayo, red onion, lettuce, some salt, black and white pepper.

2nd is: White bread, grape jam (Strawberry if you want), optional peanut butter, and Doritos. It's goooood.

I like me a normal Cheese, ham and mayognaise. Norwegian mayognaise though, English mayo is crap.

If not, a good BLT is always nice. If you have no bacon, grilled slices of ham do the job. And I usually substitute Tomato for tomato pure, because I think it tastes nicer. Might just be me though

Oh, and my mum also loves strawberry jam and cheese. I know it sounds crazy and probably depends on the types used but it works suprisingly enough. You can give it a try.

A genuine classic, the good old chip butty, lots of tommy sauce.

Translated for our colonist bretheren:- French fries sandwhich with tomato ketchup
is it weird that i understood that without the translation?
A bit, I know most of my American friends usually got confused when I talk about chips/fries. Caused a fair bit of hilarity the first few months of uni, and a few weird dinners too.

I like having my Bacon sandwiches with Nutter Butter (a peanut butter and chilli recipe my friend makes, it's awesome) or sometimes even chocolate spread. I also have cheese and jam when there's no bacon or egg and horseradish when there's not of that either. Just add things you like both of, that's what I do.

I've also had Bacon and cereal sandwich before (Golden Grahams to be precise!) and that was quite something! Oh and chicken popcorn with bacon and sweet chilli sauce! Can you tell I REALLY like bacon!

I used to have bologna, mustard, and sliced pickles. You mostly just taste the copious mustard and pickles (nom salt and vinegar).

I also recommend a Taylor ham and cheese:
Taylor Ham [http://www.amazon.com/Taylor-Pork-Roll-Also-Known/dp/B000FSB3GW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1314921736&sr=8-1], grilled on a flat grill, to taste.
Cheese (American preferred)
Optional:
Eggs (scrambled on the same flat grill)
Salt
Pepper
Ketchup

All of that in a round roll.

Seriously, it's awesome. Nothing compared to Taylor ham, accept no imitators.

Peanut butter! The spread of the gods, the old gods of Asgard!

But if you want more than just spreads, I hear chicken is pretty good in a sandwich. I just swear by peanut butter. Because it's godly.,

The colonists make it sound far more unhealthy, don't they? The brutes.

OT: Some personal, simple favourites of mine are:
1) The sausage and brown sauce, bacon (proper rashers, not the thin strips I see you guys eating on TV, cooked to be chewy with crispy fat) optional and
2) The rather healthy Ham Salad sandwich: white bread, light buttering, lettuce, tomato and cucumber (in the order that suits you).

If you can't be done with the cooking I suggest option 2. Luckily for me I have a lovely bakery that does a wonderful sausage sandwich.

Not one, but two steaks. Can't go wrong.

I like to eat sandwiches with poached egg mixed with farmer's marble cheese (which is far more delicious than any other cheese I've eaten), with a thick slice of ham and some coleslaw. The fusion of egg and cheese is the stuff of the gods.

I hear that. Personally, I dig the combo of ham and peanut butter myself, with some spinach for the leafy green good taste.

Just bacon with cheese, simple, delicious.
If you add eggs, you also have a nice breakfast!

OT:I don't know, sometimes when we had it,I would melt mozzarella cheese (Shredded) unto some bread and call it a sandwich.
EDIT:If you can,try making one of these:

Truely KFC's most fattening and delicious creation of all time.

You can't go wrong with fried pastrami and cheese on a bun. It's easy to make and fried pastrami is possibly the greatest sandwich meat on the planet.
