Legend of Grimrock?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKvMDNsEc14

It's a relatively new game that's priced around $15 I think.
I don't have it myself (don't even play PC games), but I played some of it at a friend's and it was brilliant. If you liked Dark Souls at all, you'll probably like Legend of Grimrock.

Just go buy a bunch of valve games.
Better yet go buy the Valve pack that comes with like a million valve games.

Portal 1 & 2, although you most likely already bought them.

Alpha Protocol. I have lost the count of times when people called it a "flawed gem" because it's what it is. Spy RPG with many choice and kinda shitty combat.

Spec Ops: The Line. You might have heard the buzz about this game and you should definitely check it out.

Bastion, obviously.

Fallout: New Vegas. You probably have it already.

If you like beat 'em ups you can buy Skullgirls. It`s not released yet, but if you preorder you gain access to the beta.
There are tutorials, training, a singleplay mode and local and online multiplayer(but the quick match option can be a bit wonky at times). The story-mode unlocks on release, which is the 22th of august.

It´s quite a good game. I like most of the characters and their movesets and I don`t have any real balancing issues yet. The visuals are great the soundtrack is nice too. Too bad I suck at this game. I love beat 'em ups but I get always absolutely trashed in online matches.
So yeah, if you`re into beat 'em ups buy Skullgirls

Kerbal Space Program or Prison Architect if you like simulators.
Left 4 Dead 2 or Magicka if you have a group of friends to play with.
Terraria is about to get a huge update so no better time to join in.
Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition if you like table top gaming.
Torchlight 2 if you like Diablo style games.
Loadout is an early access third person shooter that has a pretty deep weapon customization.

Hard to know what you like, just trying to throw suggestions.

If you want a pretty good quality RPG go and grab Shadowrun Returns- it's awesome if you like old style rpgs.

I grabbed Awesomenauts and was having fun with that game too- it's a MOBA style game that is 2D jumping/shooting fest and i had a blast playing it.

Go buy XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Deep and engaging, as well as being quite challenging. Tonnes of replay value too.

Most of the games I'd recommend have already been listed (XCOM, Bastion, Terraria, Torchlight, Grimrock, Alpha Protocol), so I'm just going to say "Sequence." It's a rhythm game/RPG hybrid, and while it's short and very heavy on the grind, it's really entertaining and worth the $5 price tag.

EDIT: Also, "Recettear." An RPG where you run the item shop. Way more fun than it sounds.

-Cave Story. Good music, good gameplay, good visuals for a 16-bit style, and an AMAZING challenge.
-The original Fallout games. Might take some modding to get working on a modern rig,but they're good games from yesteryear.
-Gothic. You like RPG? You like learning through play, and not having a tutorial rammed down your throat? This series is for you. Word of warning: The difficulty curve is unforgiving and sharp.
-Planetary Annihilation. This one is...Expensive. It's in the Early Access section. However,it is the future of RTS,and reminds me of Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander. Which is good.
-Supreme Commander, and it's expansion Forged Alliance. Huge scale RTS. Thousands of units in play at any given moment, massive maps, and the meta focused on the macro, not the micro. Also, real nukes, not those piddly firecrackers the Terran Dominion or the Brotherhood of Nod fire off.

You can't be bothered to put in any effort - not even to provide info like budgetary constraints or genres you like/dislike - so instead, everyone else is to put the effort in for you? We're just supposed to guess that our suggestion is not on this lengthy list of yours and that our effort is therefore not completely wasted. Come on.

I would second this only based off all the amazing stories I've heard from the original Fallout games, but as they said. It will take some modding. So if you're not the super patient kinda person(Like me) it might not be a buy for you. Though I did try for a couple hours, though only barely trying.
But I would recommend System Shock 2 if you like horrors. The control scheme is horrondeous so it will take some action remapping.
I would then proceed to reccomend any Besethda game really. Modding is a very important part to them and I've gotten well over two hundred hours from each game, bar skyrim.
FTL: Faster than light. Get it. Stradgey, amazing sound track, replayability. You've probably heard enough from it though that you don't need anymore.
The Payday games if you got some mates to play and you like co-op FPS games. You're pulling a series of heists, most of them don't really have stealth. Payday 2 has stealth, but I've yet to play it. Butfuckgoddamnwhoregoddamn I want to play it so baaad.

Have you tried Uplink? It's basically Hollywood Hacking:The Game. Very tense, lots of fun, and you can probably get it for less than 10 Euro (or whatever currency you use)

Before you buy anything, check to make sure it's not on gog.com first (LONG LIVE CD PROJEKT).

After that, make sure you pick up Valve's games. Then Bethesda games for modifying.

Well, I think Myst Online is a great game, and it's free, so why bother buying anything and go play that instead?

Answer: Because it's a game you either love or loathe, and I have no idea from the tastes you haven't provided whether or not you'd like it.

Buy Beat Hazard. It's a fun, little game. You can sync any music you have to it and it will alter the game. There's several modes and difficulty levels. There's even multilayer. It's a good way to kill some time if you have to. Lots of flashing lights though, so if that bothers you or you're prone to seizures, I'd avoid it. You can alter how strong or weak the lights are though.
