There's some good action games on DS, too. Contra 4 is great arcadey fun (though it's not available in the PAL regions), and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is decent while it lasts.Nyaliva said:Hells...f**king...yeah.icame said:Professor layton series
Seriously, if you like puzzles, cool mini-games and good stories it's about as good as you can get. Strategy games? Advance Wars Dual Strike. Adventure game logic applied to the courtroom? Phoenix Wright. And hopefully soon, JRPGs with good stories? Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. However, I would recommend Golden Sun and Golden Sun The Lost Age for GBA if you have an original DS with the GBA slot.
Unfortunately, action games are hard to find on DS because the hardware just isn't up to it. But I've never found that a problem. I find it more fun to think than to shoot things until I'm dripping with my own testosterone.
I know, I looked back at this topic to find what others recommended and everyone keeps recommending all the really great games I get worked up about when my friends with an Xbox question why I'm not playing the latest Halo game.Onyx Oblivion said:There are so many good DS games that it's scary.
But the DS Harvest Moon games are glitchy messes. In my experience, at least. The GBA ones would suffice.fletch_talon said:Harvest Moon series
You're definitely right about the first one (though I had only one problem with it, the cooking festival glitched).Onyx Oblivion said:But the DS Harvest Moon games are glitchy messes. In my experience, at least. The GBA ones would suffice.fletch_talon said:Harvest Moon series
