Warcraft 3, that last mission in the Orc campaign drove me nuts, but it felt so satisfying not only to beat that mission but also the rest of the game.
I haven't played M14 yet but i have played M13 and M12. Have you tried playing a burn deck or other deck that doesn't require creatures to win? Like a deck with alternate win condition such as Mill? I haven't played it as i said but those are my thoughts.NWJ94 said:The first duel in the Revenge campaign from Magic 2014 is really stupidly unfair, I'm convinced at this point that its just a cheep attempt by the developers to make you buy more cards. First dozen turns the AI just exiles every single card you play and then crushed you with multiple 5/5 flying angels. Haven't actually gotten by it, so no idea if it is satisfying. (Anyone who has beaten Sigismund in the Revenge campaign I would be interested to know how you did it if you can remember)
I did try a burn deck yesterday, it was one the closer games, (managed to damage him a little and stopped one of the angels, still overwhelmed me eventually though). Haven't played the Red deck as much though so right now I'm grinding it for more cards. Will give it another try tonight then with your recommendation.crimsonshrouds said:I haven't played M14 yet but i have played M13 and M12. I killed Elijah just to get the Gauss rifle which isn't technically as good as the holorifle but it makes a nice energy sniper rifle.TizzytheTormentor said:Shin Megami Tensei IV, I could list all the cheap deaths, slight mistakes, ambushes and all that good stuff...
Yet not for one moment did it cease to be fun, as soon as I beat it, I immediately made another file.
Dead Money as well, that fucking beeping and the damn cloud, but I walked out with all the gold bars, on Xbox, I basically walked up to the forcefield door, Elijah walked in and I glitched through it and walked away.
Good luck, I know how much of a pain magic can be. Karn's Revenge was pain... Yeah lets play 3 moxs then show and tell... Yeah, that's real fair in any game of magic...NWJ94 said:I did try a burn deck yesterday, it was one the closer games, (managed to damage him a little and stopped one of the angels, still overwhelmed me eventually though). I played Psychonauts when it originally came out (so I was about 13 at the time). As time went on, whenever the game was discussed the meat circus level was always brought up because of how "hard" it was. Now, if my memory served me well, the meat circus was difficult, but nothing too extreme or out of the ordinary for a final level....Fox12 said:Probably Psychonauts. That bloody meat circus... a man can only play through a level so many times before he leaves some of his sanity behind. I got through it eventually though. Then the game crashed.
Just finished this part today in 1999 mode, an exercise in frustration to say the least. Add to that Metro 2033/Last Light in Ranger mode very hard, that was not easy, in 2033 I spent 4 real time hours pinned down in a stairwell by 5 nazis. Any S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game on master difficulty, ouch rarely a second chance in that one.Moloch Sacrifice said:Bioshock Infinite for me. I thought it was going pretty well untilFortunately, once it was over, I can't say I had any grievance with the rest of the game.the part where Lady Comstock gets resurrected. After all, who doesn't enjoy fighting endlessly respawning enemies as your own resources slowly dwindle? In the fight in the bank, I had to resort to spamming Return to Sender, then running back to the Dollar Bill machine to restock salts over and over. not a very fun boss fight.
